Another school day. Claide was already sitting in class when Edmon arrived.
"Decided to go to school today huh?", Claide said to Edmons sarcastically.
"Ohh just shut up. What did I miss?", Edmons replied.
"Nothing much really, what you need to be concerned is the proffesor steaming at you.", Claide answered again.
"Really? Pftt...what? They would try to use the stopper on me? I don't really care. I've been hit with that thing multiple times.", Edmond said confidently.

The door of the classroom opened and the proffesor went to the front. He stared at the whole class and spoke.
"Edmond...come with me. All of you answer page 34-36 Activity 3. If there is any sort of noise I hear I will personally come in here and use the stopper on all of you. Do you understand?"
The whole class answered yes in unison and Edmond followed the proffesor out of the room.
Edmond was led into the principal's office and was sat down.
A man was sitting in front of him. The principal of the school, Mr. Gray. He is known for his manipulative ways, quick thinking, and the ability to intimidate.
He had a stern look in his face while facing Edmond. Edmond tries his best to not have eye contact.
"Mr. Edmond I heard that you are one big trouble maker? Is that right? You know you could easily defend yourself.", Mr. Gray said in a deep and strict tone.
"I have nothing to say. If you're gonna use the stopper then do it already.", Edmond answered.
"A tough boy..I like that, but toughness can only get you so far. Hurting you doesn't really change anything. You would do the same thing over and over again. Am I right?", Mr. Gray grinned while speaking.
"Hahaha...you know people who stand up for themselves and what they fight for is respectable. I won't call you in anymore. I won't even use the stopper on you. You can do whatever you want.", Mr. Gray continued.
Edmond was surprised with what he heard.
"Remember this though. I may not be doing anything to you but think of your friend and your family. I understand you have a mother in a different sector, a friend in the same class, and a father in the correctional facility?. I have connections Mr. Edmond. We both fight for what we think is just but that's where the similarities end. I have the capability to make your life much worst than it already is even if that means using everyone you hold dear.", Mr. Gray said while staring right at Edmond.
Edmond tried acting tough but the pressure and aura coming off from the principal was intense and intimidating. He breaks a sweat and answered.
"Yes...sir"

Claide was waiting for Edmond by the principal's office doors.
Edmond went out of the room.
"Hey...did they hurt you or something?", Claide asked.
"No..", Edmond replied.

They walked home. There was a still silence. Edmond's face looked worried and a bit afraid. Claide hasn't seen Edmond like this. Edmond would usually be cocky, arrogant, joking and confident. But now he was just walking silently. Claide was confused of what had happened in the office but by the time he had mustered up the courage to speak a group of humans walked up to them.
"Lookie heerrree a bunch of mages.", one of the humans said.
The tone was familiar. It was Garry, the son of the principal.
"Pwee!", Garry spat on the shoes of Edmond but Edmond just stood there.
"Soo you're the famous troublemaker around this parts huh? A lowly mage like you doesn't deserve any title!", Garry said. Garry suddenly punched Edmond in the stomach. Claide quickly went to Edmond and then faced Garry.
"You have no right to do that!", Claide screamed.
Claide's hands started to glow and a magical mark on his hands appeared. He was ready to use his magic. A cold wind sorrounded him. A sort of frost covered his hands. He was about to strike when suddenly Edmond grabbed him.
"No..this is not the time and the place.", Edmond whispered.
Claide was shocked. Edmond was the type to start the fight. Now he was trying to stop him.
Edmond held Claide's arms tightly and said, "I am as angry as you are but there are circumstances where we should just go..."
A faint yellow glow from Edmond's hands appeared. He was clenching his fist trying to hold back his powers and anger.
Claide stopped activating his magic.
"That's right! Stay in line you punks or else we will handle you", Garry said while holding a stopper in his hand
Edmond stood up and said, "Go home. I need to do something."
"You're hurt...", Claide replied.
"JUST GO.", Edmond answered
They seperated ways. A breeze blew by the dark ally ways. That night was a realization for the both of them.
For Claide it's that Edmond was not as tough as he thinks and for Edmond it was that his actions will have consequences
