The eyes that watch

"The name's Ray.", He said as he sat down on the chair near the kitchen table.

"Oh uhm..tha name..is", Edmond was about to speak but was then suddenly shir up by Emilia.
Ray laughed as he sees Emilia trying not to reveal thei identities.
"I already know you three. Emilia, Edmond and Claide. Such a troublesome trio indeed but then would also be an asset to us.", Ray commented.

"How...did you know..", Emilia replied with a surprised tone and facial expression.
"Well you guys have been under our keen eye. The watchers to be exact.", Ray replied.
"W...watchers?", Claide heard the words and immidiately remembered the book he read about the watcher foundation.
"Yeah..", Ray gave out a chuckle as he pulls out a necklace with an eye on it. He then added, "The watcher foundation".
Claide was confused and started to be more aggresive towards Ray.
"You...you guys are the ones my father was talking about....", He commented.
"Ah yeah your father, such a talented man but alas..was caught out.", Ray looks away.
"Is that it?! Just alas caught out?! Why didn't you guys do anything if you were such a significant group?", Claide tried lunging at Ray but Emilia and Edmond held him back.
"Dude jeez the man just helped us let him speak.", Edmond exclaimed.

Ray sighs as he started talking.
"That's basically why we didn't do anything is because we are a significant group. An underground group. If we were to be find out we would have been all caught and your father's death would be in vain."
Claide was silently but angrily looking at this man. Ray started talking again after he saw Claide's aggresive gaze.
"Now what matters is...you managed to live. Your father had actually made a request a long time ago. That if he was ever caught you shall be under our protection, that also includes you Edmond." He then takes out three necklaces with the eyes and continued talking.
"And I guess we could take this girl in as well."
Claide snarled and pulled his arm away from Emilia and Edmond's grip.
"What makes you think we will be a part of this?!", Claide angrily exclaimed.
Ray stands up and looks Claide straight in the eyes.
"Kid..this is what yoyr father wanted. Do you want to waste all the efforts he has put into this?! You can refuse but it will make it harder for you and it will be an insult ro your father's sacrifice."
After making that statement Claide was silent and looked down and giving off a defeated aura. Edmond then tapped his shoulder.
"Hey...if this was what they wanted.."Edmond was then interrupted by Claide.
"Fine, I'll take it."
He then grabbed the three necklaces and handed the other two to Edmond and Emilia.
"You three have a lot to learn which is why you shall be under my care. The three of you will be safe and remember! The golden rule of the watchers."
Claide, Emilia and Edmond put on the necklaces and looked at Ray. Ray then continued his statement.

"The secret shall be kept safe for the eyes watch and gaze."
