Darkness Falls

The facility

Each sector has it's own correctional facility. A mage correctional facility is said to be like prison but for magic users. This facilities are specifically made to house multiple magic users. Each cell is custon made for the prisoner inside. Either nullifying the abilities of the magic user or restraining the magic user itself. The facility is highly secured by human guards with specialized anti-mage weaponry. Guns, batons, smoke bombs specifically made to weaken and immobalize mages. "A mage without his or her magic is as powerless as a sheep without it's hind legs". A qoute that is rampant across all of these correctional facilities. It is called a "correctional facility" because once a mage has his or her powers revoked for a very long time they will start to develop a sort of amnesia wherein they would forget how to activate their powers. Once the process is done they are put back into society. The process and treatment there is very cruel. No one is safe. If you are a mage user and you did something wrong, you will be put into the facility. Edmond was lucky he was not put into the facility....yet. Everytime he would do something he would cover up his face and would not use his powers to hide his identity.

It was the night to execute the plan. Edmond and Emilia was already at Edmond's house discussing their course of action.
Edmond started talking, "The facility has three main floors, two watch towers, and two lower basement levels. According to your hacking of the system files located in there my father is currently at the third floor at cell E4. What I'm gonna have to do is climb in through the vents at the janitors room located in the first floor. To get in I need you to cause an alarm to go off at the second floor. While the alarm is up I will use the smoke bomb and sneak to the janitor's room."
Then Emilia replied, "While you are in the vents I'll guide you and check if there are any threats around. Once you're in there I would need some time to hack the door's lock system. Then once it's done you and your dad would crawl to the vents again and get out of there."
The plan seemed foolproof. In a matter of a few hours they are ready to execute everything.
"I'm coming for you dad.", Edmond sighed.
"Sure you are. Now get ready. I'm gonna start the system. This special earbuds will allow us to communicate.", Emilia added.
Midnight was coming near. Only a few stars were twinkling and there are is no moon present lighting up the sky. The freedom longed for will finally arrive.
