Hasty thinking

After prancing around and trying to contact Emilia, Edmond had given up and said, "Look we have to make a plan before diving in like this. You know this well all maybe a trap"
Claide had already readied his bag and replied, "I'm going alone" in a serious and monotonic voice.
"WHAT?! NO you will not go there alone", Edmond replied disagreeing.
"This is my business Edmond.", he replied once more.
"You changed....you would usually accept help...even help someone else", Edmond said in a sad tone.
Claide just looked awat and was about to go out. As he was about to touch the door Edmond used his power to electrify the door. Visible electrical charges are seen flowing through the door.
"Edmond...let me go..", Claide said while his fists are glowing blue. The room is getting chillier.
"No! Stop being so hasty you idiot. You'll get both of us in trouble!", Edmond then replied in a worried tone.
"I SAID...LET ME BE!", Claide screamed and used his ice powera to freez Edmond's feet. Claide then jumped to avoid it.
"I can't believe you! You would do that to me?! I'm just trying to help you out here!", Edmons then screamed at Claide.
Claide was silent. His eyes shows his intent of saving his family and getting revenge.
"I was once like you but you saved me from that situation. If you didn't I would have been dead! Please...", Edmond then said and used his eletrical powers to stun Claide's hand holding the bag.
"Tsk...", Claide made an annoyed sound and used his other hand to throw icicels at Edmond. Edmond then blocked him with some electricity but didn't notice that Claide already froze his feet. In an action of desperation Edmond put his other hand behind him and called Emilia one more time. At that time Claide had increased the ice covering Edmond up to his chest thus making him drop the phone.
"I'm sorry buddy....I need to do this alone. I don't need nuisances in my way.", Claide's eyes were ice cold blue. The room was as cold as his emotion. At that moment the door behind Claide opened. It was Emilia with a tranquilizer gun.
"Yeah...no", Emilia commented as she shoots the dart towards Claide.
Claide fell down and was immobalized and knocked out.
"Aren't you glad I was near when you called", Emilia smiled and said.
"Yeah...luckily. Help me out here", Edmond then replied while still being stuck in the ice.
