Darkness Falls

A plan of escape

Edmond hasn't been in class for the past week and everytime he would go to Edmond's house he wouldn't be home. Claide decided to go again during the weekend. He went Edmond's house once more and saw that the door was slightly open. He threaded lightly and heard talking upstairs. It was Edmond and two others. One guy and one girl.
Edmond spoke, "You have the plans?"
The guy answered, "Yeah here it is. The full map of the correctional facility"
"Thanks, and Emilia is the program complete?", Edmond replied.
Then the girl answered, pressumedly her name was Emilia, "Yeah I can hack into the cameras and block them out for about a few minutes."
"Good...that would be all. We start the plan tomorrow night.", Edmond answered.
Suddenly foosteps were heard coming down so Claide sneaked into the kitchen and his under the table. The lights were off so he was not seen when the two guests left. Claide started to get out of the table but when he turned around.
"Boo!", Edmond said loudly.
"Woaaahhh!", Claide said surprised while stumbling.
"Sooo what are you doing here in my kitchen hm?", Edmond asked.
"Just...uhmm..curious about your whereabouts.", Claide answered.
"Ohh please, cut the crap I know you heard everything.", Edmond immediatly said.
"Finee..your gonna try to break in the correctional facility...", Claide said.
"Yeah, I've had enough of everything. What happened yesterday was the last draw! And don't even think of stopping me Claide. Once I get my father out we're gonna get out of this crummy place and find a new home.", Edmond asnwered angrily.
"What if you get caught..", Claide followed up.
"WILL YOU JUST STOP! You're a good friend. Heck....you're not a fighter but you were willing to use your magic yesterday but just please...let me be. If you're not gonna help me then just stop meddling.", Edmond answered.
"We are friends...that is why I'm saying this to you. It's too dangerous.", Claide replied.
Edmond let out a sigh and said, "If you're really my friend you would understand my reasons.", Edmond responded.
Claide just was silent. He walked out slowly without saying a word. Edmond closed the door behind Claide. It was dangerous but Claide knew what he had to do.
