The whole day passed, Claide decided to go to Edmond's house to check on him because he was absent the whole day.
"EDMOND!", Claide called.
But no one answered.
"EDDDMMOONNDD!", Claide screamed louder. There was an annoyed answer heard.
"Whatt???!!!", Edmond answered loudly.
Edmond peaked at the window and saw Claide.
"Oh...it's you. Ughh", Edmond exclaimed.
The front door opened and Claide went in the house.
"Why were you absent? You know you would get in deep trouble with the teachers. Another absent and they would barge in here and personally zap you with those zappers", Claide said to Edmond worryingly.
"Don't be overdramatic. They wouldn't go that far. Aaannnywwaysss I think you should go.", Edmond answered.
"Bu..but..", Claide tried to speake while being pushed through the door.
"But you didn't tell me why were you absent..", Claide finished his sentence while facing the closed door.

Claide had a normal life. His family was complete and peaceful. Compared to Edmond he was lucky. His father worked at the RCHM community filing hall, where all the documentations of crimes, projects and budgets are collected and stored while his mother stays at home as a housewife. Claide grew up following the rules. He was exceptionally smart but also was a little cowardice. He learned to stand up for himself and learned a little rebellion when he became friends with Edmond. Claide knows of the underlying propaganda of thr RCHM but unlike Edmond does not make any sort of acts against this.

Claide went home and when he arrived he went straight to his room.
His father came home just a few minutes after him. Then he suddenly heard his mother and father arguing. He overheard something peculiar.
"Please...you knew what happende to Alfred after what he has done. You work at a pretty high position already and I don't think it's smart to take one of these budget files.", His mother said.
"You know that this information should just not be hidden. Why would they put in so much budget on anti mage failsafe weaponry?! I don't know what they are planning but I'm telling you there is something happening.", His father answered.
"Just...don't do it..for Claide. We don't want him to end up like his friend Edmond." His mother replied with a soft and worried tone.
"Ok..ok.yeah I should just hide this in a safe place. This is just xerox copy so they wouldn't really need to know that I have information on them.", His father answered.

"Anti mage failsafe weaponry?...what the hell..", Claide whispered.

At this point Claide knew that there is something bigger going on but he decided just to keep it to himself.
