- four months later -

Peters's POV

"You ready mate?" He said as he hit the side of my car.

"Hell, yeah." I replied as I revved the engine.

Ever since the incident four months ago, I had to find another way to distract myself from life. Clearly alcohol was not working efficiently enough. So I took up racing; and I must say I am pretty good at it. I heard the gunshot and off I went. I was racing against two other people, and I shifted gears and over took them easily. The adrenaline that racing gives you is way better than the buzz of alcohol or the high of drugs. It is certainly more dangerous, but that's the thrill of it. I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Right?
We were on our last lap and I was easily ahead of them, when suddenly, the Ferrari to the left of me started speeding up, and eventually over took me.
We were almost towards the end of the track, I was desperately trying to overtake the Ferrari in front of me, but to no avail. They crossed the finish line first, and then I did, and finally, the person behind me.
I parked off and got out and Aiden came and gave me some water.

"You ate her dust dude!" He exclaimed.

"Her?" A girl beat me? Damn, she's good.

I walked up to the lady getting out of the Ferrari, I stood in front of her and was about to congratulate her when she took her helmet off. Dark hair fell out of the helmet and a smirk was set on her face. She was beautiful, but she looked familiar. She looked at me and then turned around to her friend, presumably to get some water of something, and un did her hair from her ponytail and started shaking it around. I must've been a little too close, because next thing I know, I'm being whacked in the face by the girls hair, and god does it hurt.

She turned to me and immediately started apologizing, "oh my, I'm so sorry! Did I hurt you?"

"Don't worry about it, I'm not dead yet." I said and winked, she laughed and then grinned at me.

"I'm Aurelia." She said and held out her hand for me to shake.

"Hello Aurelia," I said as I took her hand and kissed the top of it. "It's nice to meet you."

She blushed and then said, "aren't you going to tell me who you are?"

"Oh, you already know who I am, I noticed the recognition in your face when you looked at me." I said and smirked at her.

She giggled and I realized that I was still holding her hand, so I let go and she looked saddened, but got over it quickly.

"But, my name is Peter," I said and smiled. "Just in case you didn't know."

I was about to say bye to her and go when someone came from behind her and hugged her, then kissed her cheek. Then he looked at me and his eyes went wide.

"Peter?!"

"Blake?!"

"Since when did you race?" He said incredulously.

"Since when did you decide to settle down?" I said in the same tone.

I really was shocked, Blake and I are the same, we didn't date. Well I guess we were the same.
