Dae's POV

"- I see him near her again, I'm going to-" I heard as I woke up slowly.

"Alexander, the boy has done nothing wrong. Why do you dislike him so much?" I heard a voice reply.

"There's something about him that I just don't trust." I heard Alex reply.

"Alex?" I said hoarsely.

"Dae? You're awake!" He replied and ran to my side.

I smiled lazily and tried to sit up, but I stopped when I felt a sharp pain in my collarbone.

"Oh Dae honey, let me help you." My mother said as she came to help me up.

"Thanks mom."

"Dae, how are you feeling?" My dad asked as he came to sit on the edge of my bed.

"Never been better," I replied and grinned, "what happened to me anyway?"

Alex opened his mouth to speak when the door opened. We all looked up to see you was there.

"They didn't have blueberry, so I got you a plain-" Kyle began as he focused on the coffee and bag in his hand. "Dae! You're awake!"

He ran to me and pushed Alex away as he came to hug me.

"Hey!" Alex exclaimed as he stumbled into the chair behind him.

"Oh hush you big baby. How are you feeling? You were hurt pretty badly when we first arrived."

"I'm okay, what exactly happened to me?" I asked again.

"You-" Alex began.

But Kyle interrupted, "You fractured your collarbone and got a concussion."

"Oh. Ow." I replied and laughed.

"Dae, do you remember anything from the accident?" My father asked me.

"Uh, I was driving? I remember noticing this car that had been following me for a while, but I didn't really pay attention to it. Then the next thing I know, the same car hit me with full force from behind and then I think I blacked out."

"Where were you driving from?"

"Jackson's house."

My mother smiled sadly at me, "oh mon chèr."

I smiled painfully back at her and then looked around, "is Peter here?"

"Peter Argent?!" Alex exclaimed.

"Yes Alex. I was at his place earlier and we were talking about some stuff and then I had to-"

"You were at that good for nothing's house?! What were you thinking?"

"Good for- What! Alexander, Peter has been nothing but kind to me, I mean he has his moments. But he's a good person."

"Good person." He laughed, "how bad is your concussion?"

"Alex." My mother warned.

"What? I don't trust him, and neither should you. He's bad for you, you know that." He huffed and walked to the door. "I'll drop by later with some movies. I have a meeting now. Bye."

And then he was gone.

Peter's POV

I was driving back home after dropping Aiden off at his house when I got a phone call.

"Peter!" I heard Aiden's irritatingly cheerful voice on the other side of the phone.
