Dae's POV

My heart stopped when I saw him, when I saw that smile, when my eyes met those beautiful brown eyes of his, when I could smell the cologne he had sprayed on him. I didn't know what to to say, I had no words that could possibly help this situation. It seemed like he didn't know what to say either.

"Um hi." He said.

"Hi." I replied, this conversation was going nowhere.

"You're okay?" He asked me, he seemed concerned.

"Yeah, I am." I replied.

"Okay." He said and then he walked away.

He walked away? That was a little rude. I got into my car and started the engine and then sat there for a while. Then I decided to call Stacey. She answered on the third ring and started talking.

"You will not guess what just happened! I was taking Caramel for a walk and this dog ran up to us and now I think they're in love!" She shrieked as I connected my phone to my cars Bluetooth.

"Oh, that's nice." I said back while backing out of the parking.

"What's wrong? What happened?" She asked, immediately her tone changed, it went from excited to worried in mere seconds.

"I saw him, at the coffee shop, I ran into him and I was saying sorry and then I realized who it was and then he asked me if I was okay and I said yes. Then he just left." I said and felt numb.

Four months. It's been four months since I last saw him. The last time I talked to him, he kicked me out of his hospital room. I really fucked up, I should've waited like Stacey told me to.

"Oh my gosh, are you okay? You know, you still never told me about why you like this guy so much." She said back.

"Yeah, I'm fine; seeing him felt like I had just walked into a stranger. I'll get to that story someday Stace, just not today." I told her.

"Whatever you say. How about I cheer you up! Come to my hotel room in an hour, wear some comfy clothes. See ya!" She said and cut the call.

I let out a frustrated sigh and carried on driving.

Peter's POV

"Peter! Are you going to come in dude?" Blake shouted from the table him and Aiden were at.

I was still standing in the doorway after entering the cafe.

"Uh yeah, I'll be right there." I said back and walked over to them.

"You okay man? You look a little shaken." Aiden asked me.

"Yeah, and who was that hot chick you walked into at the door?" Blake asked me.

I made eye contact with Aiden and his eyes immediately went wide, a look of realization dawned on his face and he turned to Blake.

"Dude, I don't think she was important." He told Blake.

"No come on! She had long black hair and was a petite little thing. You seemed to know her?" He told me with a wink.
