Chapter 16 - Proud.

Dae's POV

I was so caught up with Aiden, and Peter walking in that I had completely forgotten about Stacey.
I switched my phone on and saw that I had seven missed calls from Colton, four from Ralph, two from Jackson and a message from Stacey.

I ignored the first three, I would call them back later. I opened up Stacey's chat and saw that it was a voice note, I pressed play and immediately recognized Stacey's voice.

"Dae," She said in a hushed tone. "I saw Mr Hottie at the door and snuck out through the back, I figured that he might distract you from Peter, if you know what I mean. Don't worry about me, I'm going to a friends house, I'll see you tomorrow. Love you!"

I was so glad that she was safe.

"Did you reach her? Is she okay?" Aiden asked me as he walked into the lounge.

It was so sweet that he cared.

"Yeah, She left me a message. She went to a friends house and basically predicted that we'd sleep together."

"Oh really." He said and chuckled.

"Yeah, I just need to make a few calls okay?" I told him.

He nodded and sat down. I decided to call Colton first. He picked up immediately and instantly began panicking.

"Dae! Are you okay? Are you hurt in any way? Where are you? You didn't call me yesterday!"

"Woah, calm down Colton. I uh, stayed over at Stacey's. Don't worry, I'm fine. Thank you for checking in on me though." I told him. I really was greatful.

"It's my duty ma'am."

"Okay Colton, I've got to go. I'll see you later."

"Have a good day ma'am." He said and I cut the call.

Now to call Ralph, he too answered immediately.

"Dae! Are you okay? You didn't come back home yesterday." He said and he sounded frantic.

"Ralph, calm down. I'm fine, I stayed over at Stacey's. I'll see you later okay?"

"Okay ma'am, as long as you're fine."

"I am, thank you Ralph. Now I have to go. Bye!"

"Good bye Dae." He said and ended the call. Okay.

Now for Jackson. He answered on the fourth ring.

"Princess, your fucking body guards called me last night asking if you were with me. Are you okay?" He asked me.

"I'm fine Jackson."

"It's been so long since I've seen you, join me for dinner tonight?" He asked me.

"Of course!"

"Great, I'm cooking so come to my place at seven."

"Yay! Okay I'll see you then." I said and cut the call before he could.

I sighed and out my phone away and turned to face Aiden.

"You 'stayed over at Stacey's'" He said and grinned.

"Oh shut up, I was not going to tell them that I slept with some guy."

"Some guy?! I will have you know that I am more then just some guy." He said and rolled his eyes.

"You're so dramatic, now hold on, I'm going to borrow something of Stacey's and change, this shirt is hardly appropriate."

"But you look hot in it." He said smirked.
