it is common to hear women talk
about how they hate their bodies
how they want to be
slimmer,
thicker,
or just differently shaped.but what if
what you hate most
is not what you are
but who you are.you can alter your physical appearance
whenever you pleasewho you are is harder to change.
thoughts are planted
like unwanted weeds
their roots so deep
they are impossible to remove.no matter what you do
you can only cut them off
at ground level
with the worst
waiting below the surfaceand you are left
staring
at the dead leaves
wondering how
to stop the weeds
from growing again.
