"I don't have to stay with you..I can go wake Yuki and Shigure up.."

"No no it's fine."

Tohru opened her bedroom door and walked inside. Kyo followed and shut the door behind them.

"Tohru?"

"Yes?"

"Why don't you just go home?"

Tohru sighed lightly.

"I need to stay here. I'm a part of this as much as you guys are..except it's a little more for me now."

Tohru sat on the side of her bed and Kyo sat next to her.

"I still want to know what that mark on you is."

"I'm still not telling you." Tohru mumbled.

"I only want to know because I care.."

"Why though?"

"I feel lost Tohru. I don't know anything about this and it's starting to make me worry.."

Kyo struggled to say those words aloud.

"I'm fine..I'm not in any danger."

Kyo raised an eyebrow.

"Really?"

"Okay yes I am, but you don't have to worry."

"Worrying is the only thing I can do."

He placed a hand on her cheek softly.

Tohru looked at him in surprise. His hand was cold on her cheek. She also noticed the way Kyo didn't make full eye contact with her.

Kyo inched his face closer to Tohru's and she tried not to widen her eyes.

As Kyo began to close his eyes the door opened.

Kyo froze in his spot and looked over at the door.

Ciel stood in the doorway trying to hide his grumpiness with an evil grin.

"I think you dropped this in the hallway."

Ciel reached into his pocket and pulled out a small hair barrette.

Kyo was still holding Tohru's cheek in his hand with his face inches from hers.

Ciel tried to act natural in the situation. He tried very hard to make sure the annoyance he felt wasn't noticeable.

"That's not mine Ciel. I didn't put one on today."

"Who's is it then?" Ciel examined the barrette in his hand.

Tohru shrugged lightly.

"I don't know.."

"If this is another sick joke about Lizzie then I'm done."

Ciel said angrily as he walked out of the room slamming the door behind him out of frustration.

He marched down the hall into the main living room. The flames on the fireplace danced around and he threw the barrette into the fire.
