Chapter 2

Erin's
T'was in the middle of the night when my dad called me. I'm staying at my dorm with Francis my roommate he's sound asleep pero ako gising pa. Nag aalala lang ako sa nangyari kanina, it was gruesome. I feel bad for Claire and Hyacinth for seeing that.

"Erick, have you heard the news?" He asked. Of course been watching it earlier with Marie. Si Marie na kaibigan din namin, sikat dahil both parents ay lawyer.

" Yep, why?"

"Kaklase mo ba yung David Scott. I heard that he was also studying there at your university." Ah David that playboy. I know him very well...

"Yes, dad why?"

"He was also shot where Claire and your friend is, he's also with his girlfriend though we can't find her. Medyo malayo nga lang but still I think it's involved with our recent case with the jeepney driver." Makes sense...same place, same time what a coincidence. "I just called to let you know that you guys have to be careful. Tell your friends I'm sorry from what they've seen. Goodnight. I love you nak." I smiled.

"Goodnight dad, don't pull an all nighter with your case now." I replied with a chuckle.

"That's impossible. Your dad has a lot of work to do. Call me if you know anything and if something happens. Oh yes, please place it on my desk." He was talking to someone. Well... He's in work.

"Okay copy that police officer. Love you too dad." Then I hung up. What could be the possible reason? God nacucurious tuloy ako. Manghihingi nalang ako ng update kapag may nalaman sila. I have to tell this to everyone.

Kinaumagahan maaga pa rin akong nagising dahil kay Francis. He's also our president sa student council. Claire, Belle, Maeve member din sila like me but Claire is our vice president. Kami ang nagmamanage ng mga events.

"Got some news. Pakisabi kay Claire na cancelled ang event sa orphan. I'm sure she and your other friends will be very upset." Fuck, ngayon pa nagcancel kung kelan lahat ayos na, gusto pa naman naming tumulong sa mga bata. If ever na macancel ulit puno na ang schedule ng student council.

"Sino nag cancel?" Tiningnan niya ako.

"The boss." Boss ang tawag namin kay Sir Reufrir siya ang head ng student council. Nang maalala ko David was also a member of our council. Fuck, of course kaya makacancel talaga.

"Why?" Nag maang maangan muna ako.

"Pulis dad mo at hindi mo alam? David got killed. I'll be attending his funeral kayo bahala kapag gusto nito din pumunta but you can also tell the others na mag send nalang ng bouquet of flowers." Sabay alis ng room. Nakabihis na kasi ito.

Claire's

I'm pissed off... Ngayon nalang ang free time ng council namin tapos icacancel pa. I mean I'm the vice I can also manage the event. Pero David that guy was also killed in the same place. It gives me chills.

"Aattend ba tayo? I mean he's also a member." Tanong sakin ni Erin. Kung ako makakakita ulit ng bangkay I'd rather not mababaliw na ako and also Hyacinth.

"Let's just send some flowers. Nasabi mo na ba sa kabila?" He sighed. So not yet huh?

"You're the Vice president I'm supposed to say it to you first." Tumayo naman ito at nagtungo na sa ibang dorm.

"Ano?!" I can heard them bickering sa katabing room. That was Maeve's voice.

"Hey, about sa call..." Isinarado naman ni Hyacinth yung pinto. Yes, pinag iisipan ko din yon. "What if yung call na yun ay hindi pala satin pero..."

"Para kay David?"
