chapter 5 ( all or nothing )

"I can't keep putting you and other people in danger this is my fighting " I snapped and tried to close the door but Walt pushed it.

"He came to my pack, entered my house, threatened my family and injured my little brother. This is no longer your fight alone ."He said walking into the house. " I'm not doing this for you I'm doing it for my self and my family "I could see the rage in his eyes.

I walked towards him and cupped his face in my hand .

"It's not as easy as it seems Walt, I've lost my father to this man ,and my mother? I haven't seen her in God knows how long "I looked into his eyes and slowly let go of his face. " I feel like I'm totally going crazy damn it! I can't live knowing I'm the reason anything bad happened to you" I snapped and his eyes widened.

"Lia, I know you've lost a lot but look you need to let me help you, what if he gets to you while you are following him." he said and I looked down.

"I can deal with it on my own " I turned and just when I was about to walk of he pulled me by my hand and pined my back against the wall.

"listen I'm not taking no for an answer, you just have to deal with it, I'll find him with or without you" he's face so close to mine I could feel his breath on my skin , when he was done talking he noticed the space between us and moved back a little.

"Fine you're probably safer around me than by yourself " I said and signaled him to give me a little more space, he moved away and I quickly walked towards the stairs.

"Aren't you coming ?" I asked and his eyes widened.

"To your room ?" he asked and I nodded.

"Don't try anything or I might just hang you by your skin " I smiled he looked shocked

We got to my room and I grabbed on of my mother's spell books. I was looking for a spell that could track my mother if I went back.

"What are you looking for ?" he mused

"I'm looking for a tracking spell. I know there's something wrong with my mum and I need to find her"

After looking through a couple of her books I found it. I had to take on of the belongings and chant the spell .
I went up to her room and found a pair of ear rings she liked I put them on a map and chanted the spell causing the earrings to turn into a black ash that that hovered around the map until it landed on a specific spot.

"That's weird " I said looking up to him.

"Why? " he looked lost not even knowing were the map was from.

"She's at my Recee's house " I said still puzzled about what she would be doing there.

"She could just be visiting " he said and I looked at him.

"No my mum never just visits anyone she's really antisocial " I wondered. " I need to go go back " I said and Walt looked at me puzzled.

"Where?"

" Home" I walked off and grabbed my bag pack and packed a few things I would need. I didn't have my pendant ,so I went to my mother's room and opened a box she kept with my fathers things and I got his crescent moon pendent he always wore it and I need as much help as I could get.

Walt stopped me.

"I'm coming with you " he command and I gave him a dead stare. " don't look at me like that "

"You don't want to get in the middle of this " I walked around him trying grab a few more things.

"You can't do this alone!" he snapped

"Of course I can. Watch me" I went down and drew a star connected to a moon with charcoal on the floor and chanted a spell and the portal opened and just before I could go through my door bell rang. Which was weird because no one I knew used it.

I opened it to see April standing at the door and I looked back at Walt that didn't seem shocked to see his sister at my door.

"This should be good " she walked into the house shocked at what she was met with. The portal.

"What the hell? " she was confused at what she saw.

"I told you. And you did promise to help" Walt said to her and I put it together.

"You told her?!" I snapped

"I trust her with my life " I said " and you need all the help you can get . "

"I just want to find the man that threatened my family " she looked at me with a dead eye almost like she was out for blood. I felt uneasy at the thought of what she was planning and what would happen if she made a wrong move.

"Fine just don't do anything stupid " I shock my head.

I walked towards the portal and this part always made me feel like I was going to throw up my lunch. I directed everyone to the portal. I just hope no one gets stuck in limbo .

It was finally my turn so I closed my eyes and jumped through.
