chapter 18 ( Black Diamond)

ZELFELIA

I  rushed into the house only to find grandma sitting on the couch watching on of her favorite TV show.

" Why where you screaming? " I asked her .

" Zelfelia  " she said with a smile on her face, you're here already. " You must be Isis, and you I've not seen you before " she said looking at Jerome.

" I'm Jerome " he said scratching out his hand to shake hers, as soon as she touched his hand her eyes went white for a brief second and back to normal.

" Your a vampire, " she said letting go of his hand. "My grand baby seems to be making a lot of friends now, when she was little she barely even went out, she only had one friend " she laughed.

" Very funny grandma " I said. 

" Got get everyone settled in, dinners almost ready " she said, I led everyone upstairs and showed them to the extra room, I went to my room and up packed my stuff, and went back down. Grandma had set everything up .

Jerome came down stairs, we where still waiting for Isis, I quickly went up to get her, she was still unpacking her stuff  ,I pulled her by her hand dragging her down, I was hungry and she was taking to long.

Grandma had simply put a huge silver cup for that was covered and she had set the food good everyone to pick from.

Jerome removed the cover from the cup. " How did you get this much blood " he asked her.

" It's not really blood, it's a little something I  learnt to make over the many years I've lived, but I guarantee it will taste and have the same effect of the real thing " she said ,she snapped her fingers and there was a straw in his cup. He took a sip.

" This actually tastes better than actual blood " he's said.
 
Grandma stood up from the table and walked to one of the cupboards in the kitchen she brought out six little wooden boxes.



" I believe these where for you " she said handing them to me. I had a box like this, Recce had give me a bracelet on my fifteenth birthday, and it came in a box that looked like this. But these had numbers on the side, I tried to open the one that had five on it but I couldn't,  so I tried the one that had a one on it. It opened and it had a black rock in it.



" That's a black diamond " grandma said " they store a large amount of energy, and you can only find them in one place on this half of kildera " she explained.

Kildera was separated into two halves, the Luna and solar ,we where on the Luna, the people here drew energy from the three moons the stairs and sometimes land , people here had slightly more peal features, we barely got any sun light during the day but the moons where always out. People on the solar side got there power from the sun and distant stars ,the people on that side where a little more golden so to say.

"Where? " I asked her.

"That I don't have the answer to, but I'm pretty sure Mathias does" she said referring to my father's old friend.
.we tried to open the other boxes but to no avail. At first I hadn't noticed it but there was a note in the first box. I opened it and read it out loud.

" Zelfelia, your beauty like this diamond, your power even grater. Find where it was before in turn you can open the second box"   i read.

"That's it? "Jerome asked.

"Yeah " I responded. " we'll go see Mathias tomorrow, right now I'm exhausted " I said.

"Goodnight." I said getting up and taking the boxes with me.
