Not Again

Riley's POV

" Your phone is ringing." Ann said.

" I heard it." I said.

" Pick it up then." She said.

" Nope." I said.

" Why not?" She asked me.

" I am not interested in talking to that person." I said.

" It's Josh. You were saying yesterday that you have something to talk with him, now you are the one who is not talking to him?!! What's wrong? What is irritating you? " She asked me.

" You can see that he is irritating me." I said to her.

" He must have something to discuss with you." She said.

" But I am not interested in talking to him." I said and turned back to complete my sketches.

" How was your meeting with Alessandro?" I heard Bella's voice and looked up at her.

" Nice. He is a good person I think." I said.

" He is Alan's friend. " She said.

" Oh, that's nice." I said.

" So what have you decided? Think about it more or answer him now? " She asked me.

" I need a bit time. I will tell you 3 days later." I said to her.

" Alright. No problem." She said.

" Yes. Has the Turner's deal closed?" I asked her.

" Tasha is handling that along with Cindy." She said.

She was having coffee. I looked at her weirdly. Why is she having coffee? Has she forgotten that she is pregnant?!! Suddenly Ann snatched that mug from her and handed her a glass of orange juice. Bella looked at her weirdly.

" Have healthy things which will help you and the baby. Didn't doctor forbid you to have coffee?" She asked her. Bella sighed.

" One cup won't be hurting." She said.

" It's not the matter of one cup. It's just the fact is, you will keep saying one cup won't be harming and keep this habit up. So, no. Not even one cup." Ann said and Bella sighed deeply.

" You are growing up, Annie." Bella said.

" No, I was born to remain a kid." Ann said and I chuckled.

" No, I was saying you are turning into a grandma." She said. Ann rolled her eyes.

" Yes. So what? " She asked.

" Nothing. Nothing. You guys work and I will check what Stella is doing." Bella left.

" Why can't you sit quietly?! You need rest." Ann said.

" I do rest a lot and get tired of taking rest all the time." She shouted back.

" I will call Alan and tell him that you are not following doctor's advises." Ann said.

" I can't hear you, what did you say??! " She entered the lift to reach Stella's floor. I chuckled.

" Crazy girl!!! She will hurt the baby as well." She said. I smiled. Here comes the overprotective Ann.

" Relax, Ann. She needs to move a bit as well. It will help her." I said. " Come you have a seat and check the sketches." I said to her and she sighed.

" Let me check." She took the sketchbook and started check it and I made us both coffee. I needed it. My head was aching.

I checked my phone but it was not ringing anymore. Stupid. I sat on my chair and checked the texts. Most of them were threatening.

Pick the phone up. Where the hell are you now?!

Like I am telling you where I am. Chuck it. I kept my phone aside and started to check the remaining sketches that need to make. Hmm, summer collection. Sure, I love summer. I smirked.

" What's wrong? Why are you smirking?" Ann asked me.

" I love summer." I said and she rolled her eyes. I chuckled.

" You love summer. I know that." She said.

She was about to say something more but the door bursted open and the person entered my cabin I didn't even expect being here. I found my mom. I narrowed my eyes. Why is she here?! Ann looked at me shocked and I nodded. She sighed.

" Mrs. Schwartz?" I said. "Suddenly here in our headquarter?" I asked her.

" Stop with your dramas." She said.

" Calm down and have a seat. How can I help you?" I asked her and she shoot a death glare at me. " Oh, this is Ann. My friend and roommate." I said to her and she glared at Ann as well. But Ann rolled her eyes totally ignoring her. That's my girl!!!

" Won't you have a seat? Then keep standing there. Or you can just tell me what do you want to tell then just leave." I said.

" Don't fly so high. I can clip your wings." She said to me.

" Oh, these words seems to be so known to me." I said acting a bit. "Oh, yes. They were my words. How crazy!!!" I said to her and she looked at me like she wants to burn me but unfortunately it didn't work on me. " If you are done then you can leave as you can see that I am very busy now. I can't give you time. By the way, did you take any appointments?" I asked her.

" You are going out of your lines. Don't cross your limits." She said. " Stay away from Schwartz."

" I don't have any lines and limits to cross. And it's my life, my choice to do what I want to do. You are no bloody one to tell me what I have to do. I hope I am cleared about that." I said to her.

" You can't talk to me like that. You don't have any idea what I can do." She said. I kept looking at my files ignoring her.

" Oh, I remember one thing I wanted to ask you from long. Does your husband know that you have a 22 years old daughter too from your first marriage? I am not sure if I should tell him or not." I said innocently. She looked at me glaring hard. I chuckled.

" Don't you dare." She said.

" You don't tell me what to do." I said. She gritted. " Now out. Never ever come to my workplace without any appointment." I said to her.

" You will regret." She said.

" Let's see actually who does that." I said and she left.

" Crazy woman." Ann said and I sighed.

I finished my works and was going back home. Everyone has left already. I send Ann home as well. It was 6:00 in the evening and I walked out of the headquarter. Suddenly some people blocked my way.

" Ma'am, this way, please." One of them asked. I sighed not again. Urrrghh!!!!
