Josh's POV

" You stay here with us for a few days until you find out a new apartment for yourself." Grandma said to Ann and I nodded.

" If you stay here we can be relaxed." Bryan said. I looked at Riley and she was in deep thought. I hold her hand.

" What happened?" I asked her.

" Nothing. I was just thinking who will try to do something like this." She said.

" Don't worry. We will try to find it out soon." I said and kissed on her forehead. She just nodded. I could feel she was worried. I thought for a second and called Patrick.

" Hey, Josh!! How is everything there? Heard it from Cindy. How is Ann now? " He asked me.

" Everyone is fine. But can you do me a favor?" I asked him.

" Yes, sure. Anything." He said.

" Can you send Nova here at our place?" I asked him.

" Ok, but why?" He asked me.

" She will keep Ann and Riley busy for awhile. You can understand they are still in shock of this sudden incident." I said to him.

" Ok. I will send Nova there." He said.

" Don't worry. I will send Bryan to bring her here." I said.

" Ok, then." He said.

" See you soon." I said.

" See you." He said and hung up.

" Bryan!! " I called him.

" Yes, Bro?" He asked me.

" Go to Blankfein's place and bring Nova here." I said.

" Why?" He asked.

" She will keep them busy." I said.

" Ok." He left and I got a text from Mike.

He was saying to meet him as soon as it possible.
I texted him back that we will meet in an hour and I walked towards the living room.

" Hey!! " I said to my wife who was still thinking about something.

" What are you thinking, Babe? I asked her. She shook her head smilingly. " You ok?" I asked her.

" Perfectly fine." She said.

" Don't worry. Everything will be fine. I am here with you." I said and she smiled. Mom and grandma was talking to make them easy.

" Mammam!!" I heard Nova and smiled. I stood up and picked her up in my arms. I kissed on her cheek and she giggled.

" Now Princess has forgotten her, Papa. Right?" I asked her. She wrapped her arms around my neck and showered me with her kisses. I smiled.

" But Mammam is cute." She said.

" Ok, then go." I said.

" But I love you too, Papa." She said and I chuckled.

" Ok, go. Your Mammam is there. Ann is also there." I said putting her down on the floor. She ran to Riley. I smiled. I walked to them and kissed on Riley's forehead.

" Are you going somewhere?" She asked me.

" Have some works to do." I said to her.

" Alright. Come back soon." She said.

" Sure." I said and gestured him to come with me. He followed me silently.

" Where are we going?" He asked me.

" Mike texted. He wants to meet." I said and he nodded. We reached the place Mike has texted.

" Hey!!" We sat across him.

" Have you got any information about that person?" Mike asked.

" No, a lot of things happened since last night." I told him and explained him everything. He nodded.

" Where is Ann now?" He asked.

" At our place." I said.

" Better." He said. " I got some information about that murder case." He said.

" How did you find it out this easily?" I asked him. He chuckled.

" I have some other sources to find out the informations that I want. You don't have to be worried." He said. I rolled my eyes.

" Other sources means Denzel, isn't it?" I asked him and he chuckled.

" Well, yes." He said. " Come on, he is my best friend and we are family. He will do that for me anyways." He said.

" Alright. Stop being dramatic. Now tell be what have you found out?" I asked him.

" Well, it's about the woman who was murdered. She was killed by the brother of her friend and colleague who used to work with her. Later the killer was sentenced to death and RD was the eyewitness of this case. That time the person who used to threaten her family I think that person is someone from the killer's family." He said.

" Isn't that obvious?" Bryan asked.

" Yes. I think so." I said. " Why did he kill his brother's colleague? Isn't it abnormal?" I asked.

" Umm.. there can be two reasons, 1. His brother told him to kill her for some reason 2. He had some personal issue with her." Mike said.

" Which reason can make someone want to kill someone this brutally?" I asked.

" There can be many reasons. But the most reliable one is may be he wanted to take all the credit of their research himself." He said.

" Can be. But how can we be sure about it?" I asked him.

" There is only one way to find it out." He said.

" What?" I asked him.

" Meet Georgia Cantor's colleague Mateo Griffin. He can make it clear." He said.

" Who is Mateo Griffin?" I asked him.

" Brother of the killer. He must knows why did his brother kill Ms. Cantor." He said.

" If he is the killer then he will try to attack us as well." I said.

" Not that easily." He said to me. "Do you think it's so easy?" He asked.

" I don't know but we should be careful." I said and he chuckled.

" Don't worry. Mr. Griffin is coming here. I got an appointment with him." He said. I looked at him weirdly.

" When did you do all these?" I asked him.

" This was Denzel's idea. He also doesn't like to waste time in one matter. Before the murderer can hurt RD or Ann more you should take a step." He said and I looked at him weirdly.

" Well, how does he think about things?" Bryan asked.

" He things reversely. He starts from the end point." He said and I rolled my eyes.

Sometimes you can't predict people and Denzel is one of them. You can never figure it out what he is thinking. He is always one step ahead from his opponents.

" There is Mr. Griffin." Mike pointed and I turned to see him.

Well, he is the center point of this brutal murder case. He will end it now or he will get end.
