Out Of Options

Riley's POV

" Hey, Grandpa!!!" I called my grandpa Issac.

" Riry!!" He said and I rolled my eyes. He calls me Riry because I used to say my name is Riry when I was a little girl. I sighed but hugged him at once.

" How are you, Grandpa?" I asked him.

" You remember me after long time." He said

" I came to see you last month." I rolled my eyes.

" That's what I was saying. Long long time." He said and I sighed.

" Where is Grandma?" I asked him.

" She has gone to the supermarket to do groceries." He said to me.

" You guys can do it online." I said pouring a glass of water for myself and had it. He sighed.

" Actually going to supermarket is another way to pass time. You know we don't have much to do at home." He said.

" Then why don't you go and visit me sometime?" I asked him.

" Your grandpa is not that strong like before." He said and I sighed.

" I went to our beach house." I said to him.

" We have sold it long back." He said.

" Yes, they have told me already." I said and he nodded. " But it had changed a lot. Everything changed. They made a bigger house there." I said to him.

" Why did you go there?" He asked me.

" Suddenly last night I had a dream. Dream about that fire incident, you know. That's was real. I saw that horrible thing again. I was so upset. This ir is why I went to visit that place. And that dream reminded me that I have not visited them from long back." I said to him and he nodded.

" Everyone has an incident in their life which they can never forget ever. You have to try to live with it. You are a fighter. You survived that incident." He said.

" But how can I forget that I was the reason behind this? They wanted to kill me but my innocent grandparents were their victim." I said and sighed deeply.

" It was an accident, Riry. You had nothing to do with that. What did you think you could do then?!" He asked me.

" I wish I had never ever seen that murder with my own eyes!!! I wish I hadn't took those pictures and gone to court to speak against them!!! I spoiled everything. I did it." I said.

" You haven't, girl. You have done the right thing. You haven't done any mistake. They did a crime and it can never ever be supported."he said. I sighed.

" For me my grandparents lost their lives." I said. " Burning in fire is the scariest death ever. I know that. I have seen that. I couldn't save them while they pushed me out of the fire and it burnt them in front of my eyes." I said.

" Don't think about it. It is past. We can't change it." He said.

" I wish I could!!" I said.

" You shouldn't feel low about it." He said. I sighed deeply.

" I sometimes think they are still after me. They are searching for me." I said to him.

" That's just your subconscious mind which keeps bothering you. They left this place long back." He said. " And you don't live here as well. You have grown up. They will not be able to find you out." He said and I chuckled.

" Thanks to you my knight in shining armor. You saved my life that time." I said and he chuckled.

" You don't have to thank me. Anything for the Queen." He said and we both laughed.

That moment we saw grandma entering the house. Her eyes widened as soon as she saw me.

" Riley!!!" She said and ran to me. Yes, she is the only person in the world who calls me with my first name and I don't mind about it.

" Grandma!!!" I hugged her tightly.

" Oh, God!!! Can't believe that you are here for real." She said.

" Believe it I am here for real." I said. She looked around searching for something.

" What are you looking for?" I asked her.

" Where is Ann?" She asked me.

" Oh, she didn't come. She is busy a bit." I said to her and she nodded.

" I thought she has come as well." She said. " How is she doing?" She asked me.

" She is doing very well." I said. "Currently remains very busy with works. We are opening a fashion house." I said.

" You and Ann?" Grandma asked.

" No. There are other people." I said.

" That will be great." She said.

" Yes, I know. But there is a lot of difficulties. We all are girls and they keeps underestimating women. So, we want to prove that they are wrong and girls can rock either." I said and they nodded.

" When are you guys going to launch it?" She asked me.

" Soon." I said. " I will inform you guys." I said.

" That's great." She said.

" Mom came back." I said and their faces turned hard. " She has got married with a rich guy. They have two daughters. Greta and Camelia. They are very cute. But I didn't show up in front of Mom yet." I said.

" Good. She doesn't deserve to know about you." Grandma said.

" There is another good news." I said to them.

" What?" Grandma asked.

" I am getting married." I said. They looked at me weirdly.

" Really?!!" Grandpa asked me.

" Yes." I said.

" He is a Greek guy. I still don't know anything about him. My friend choose him for me. I will talk to him and then will take decisions. But it's final I am going to get married." I said

" Alright. But why Greek?" He asked me.

" I am settling down in Greece." I said.

" What??!" They both asked me at once.

" I have taken a decision to move away from here because I don't find living here is helping me in anyway. It's keep suffocating me. I don't know why it is so hard for me to cooperate with it." I said. They sighed.

" Ok, if you say so." They said.

" Aren't you guys happy for me?" I asked them.

" We are." They said. I know they are upset but they will not tell that. But staying here is out of options.
