Riley's POV

" Why are you sleeping till now?" Ann asked me but I didn't answer her. I kept laying down lazily.

" Hey!!! Get up we will be late otherwise." She pulled me to the sitting position from laying. I sighed deeply and then laid down again.

" Get up." She started to pull me again but I kept laying on my back. I was super duper irritated with Josh. I wasn't going. Let's see what happens!!!

" Are you getting up?" Ann asked me.

" I am not getting married today." I said.

" Then when are you getting married?" She asked me.

" Never." I said to her.

" Come on. Finish your drama. Get up. " she said and I rolled my eyes.

" I am sleeping. Don't disturb me." I said and pulled the duvet over my face. I heard her sighing deeply. But who cares!!! I don't. I will not go means I will not go.

" RD!!! Everyone will be waiting. Things have already arranged now you are talking like this?!! It's not fair. You can't talk like this." She said.

" But I am talking only like this." I said and felt the duvet being dragged away from me. I sighed but still kept laying on the bed lazily.

" Why are you too stubborn??" She asked me.

" I don't know. I was born like this." I said to her.

" Hey!! Wake up. Come on. Don't give me a hard time." She said.

" He deserves that. He dared to slap me that too for that bi*ch." I said.

" You deserved that for meeting that witch. You knew she was lying but you kept listening to her silently. You can't just let someone abuse your man. You have to protect his reputation. He did a lot for you. Didn't he? You can't deny that fact, RD. He did a lot for you. For us." She said. I sighed.

It's true but he has hurt ego. It's bigger than Everest. If he has ego then I have it too. He just can't keep shuttering it slowly. He should know that everyone loves his ego it's not only him.

" I didn't ask for that. I didn't ask for sympathy." I said to her.

" That doesn't call sympathy. That's call love. He loves you, damnit." She said.

" I don't care as for now. He has done something wrong. He should realize his mistakes." I said to her and she sighed. " He didn't even say sorry for that." I said to her.

" You also hadn't say sorry for that." She said.

" Where was my fault here?" I asked her.

" Your fault was you were silently letting her insult Josh. You just can't do that no matter what. No excuse is justified here. You just can't stay silent when someone is lying about your man in front of you, no matter what you have planned for later. It's not at all reasonable. I hope I can make you realize the reason." She said to me but I shook my head.

" I decided to be a brainless person. My ego comes first. I am not going." I said to her.

" You are obstinate. Your stubbornness will make you suffer badly one day, RD. Mark my words." She said.

" I don't care." I said to her.

" You will care. You definitely will." She said and I rolled my eyes.

I kept laying down there and suddenly I got a call. I check the caller ID and cut the call at once. He kept calling and I kept dismiss the calls. Then he texted me to receive the call but neither I receive his call nor I have answered his texts.

" Josh wants to talk to you." Ann came giving me her phone.

" Tell him not to bother me ever again." I said to her.

" Alright. Ann, tell her to come here in an hour. If she doesn't show up by then she should be ready to she the hell." I heard his voice on speaker.

" Then let's see the hell." I said.

" Don't force me to force you." He said.

" I force you. Now do whatever you want to do." I said to him angrily. " I don't care. You heard me? I don't care." I said to him coldly.

" You should already know that if easy thing doesn't work easily then Josh can make them work other way around." He said to me.

" Let's see what do you do to make it work easily this time. I am also interested to find that out." I said.

" Then let's see." He said and hung up at once. Hung up!!!

He dared to hung up on me?!! Wasn't it me who should hung the call up on his face?!! Stupid!!! Moron!!! Spoiled my mood completely now. But who cares!!! Let him do whatever he wants to do. I am not going anyways. I kept laying then I heard a knock on the door.

" Ann, please stop eating my brain." I said thinking it must be Ann.

" RD, it's me your Granny." I heard Mrs. Schwartz and sighed.

" Please, come in, Grandma." I said to her. She came inside and I kept looking at her with my mouth wide open. She was looking so pretty today.

" You are looking so beautiful." I told her and she chuckled.

" It's my eldest grandson's wedding today. I should look pretty. Don't you think so?" She winked at me.

" You are already pretty. You don't have to try about that." I said to her. She patted my head.

" Why are you not going there? Everyone is waiting for you." She said.

" I am angry with Josh." I said.

" But you are not angry with us, are you?" She asked me. " If you don't go then we all will be insulted there. Do you want that?" She asked me and I sighed. " I know what Josh has done was not right and wasn't justified at all no matter what reason he shows. But you have to understand that as well that he was angry then and an angry Josh is more dangerous than a erupting volcano. You knew that. He has no control over his anger but I have seen trying to do that for you. That means you mean a lot to him, RD. Don't let him down." She said and I sighed. "He wanted to come and he was very angry. I knew he can take a wrong decision in anger. So, I came here to you. I am not forcing you but think about it." She said and I sighed deeply.

Why is everyone up to emotionally blackmail me like this?
