{Rebecka}
When we get to the, all once too familiar, pack house the sun starts to peek over the horizon. It cast a gold shadow across the open land and along the tops of the trees. I take a deep breath in hailing the rich Montana fresh air.
I get out of the car and stretch my arms. Mike comes out of the house and walks over to Claire hugging her. Before he pulls away I notice that he whispers something in her ear and she nodes with a relieved expression. I stuff the little black box in one of my bags and pick them up. I smile at Mike as he holds the door for me.
I try to decide on weather to stay in the guest room or Jason and my room. I feel it's for the better to bunck in the guest so that's were I put my things.
I take a deep breath and walk up stairs to the bedroom I once shared. I in hailed his scent. It was strong like he had just been here but I thought against it. I walked over to the drawer and pulled out a big white T. Pressing it to my face I let his scent sent tingles through my body but regretted it when it reminded me of how he was gone.
I sighed, shirt in hand, an walked back to the vacant room. I laid on the bed hugging the shirt tightly against me as if I were a starving dog with only one bone. I closed my eyes hoping to fall back to sleep because it was like five in the morning.

I ran through the woods in my wolf form. Today Rebecka was coming back but my father had me gathering family of Mike and Claire so they could all be present at the wedding. I had been through all of the close range packs and now I'm on my way back. I looked up at the sky as the sun rose.
My lion like paws pounding across the ground as I pushed myself harder, getting a faster speed than a race horse.
My wolf is jumpy, like he knows something.
[Mike, I'm on my way back give me about a minute to clear a mile.], I laugh into the link with a wolf grin.
[No!], he replies back. [I mean meet me at the corner of the tree line.]
[ok...], I say slowly. With that I cut the link and continue.
Soon enough I reach the corner farthest from the house and Mike is waiting for me there with some clothes. He puts them by a tree and turns. I shift and put on the blue jeans and one of my white T-shirts that cling to my muscled chest.
"So, why do we have to meet so far away from the house?", I ask. Mike jumps obvious that I have startled him and I just notice the agitation in my voice.
"Because...you can't be there.", he said looking at the ground.
I look at him with a cocked eyebrow. "Mike I live there. I think I can be there if I want.", I said walking off. He grabs my arm.
"Jason I needed to ask you if you were still going to play that song for me. You know at the wedding.", he looks hopeful.
"Yeah, but I need to practice and my guitar is in the house.", I say. He looks at the ground.
"Did you inform all the relatives and pack alphas about the wedding?", he was changing the subject. I have him an agitated look.
"Listen Mike. I'm tired. I'm going in side.", I gave him a challenging look.
He maybe my future beta but I am alpha.
I turned to walk away and he touched my shoulder. I turned back to look at him.
"I'm sorry.", he said before I felt the force on my face and my world went black.
•Mike is a brave brave man lol hope you still enjoy my book.•
