Chapter Thirty-eight:

{Rebecka}

I paced the halls before walking back into the bathroom. It had been a year since Mike and Claire were happily married with a baby girl.

I was scared, happy, and shocked all at the same time. I thought I was careful but something went wrong.

How was I going to tell him?

In top of that my parents are coming over!

I was beyond scared! Scared my dad would instantly know, but I'm twenty-four. God, I'm pitiful. Still listening to my parents, but don't all kids?

I looked over the small plastic, pen like thing again. I used the whole box.

I was in the down stairs bathroom and Jason was just getting home from meeting with the pack one state over. I took a deep breath when I hear the front door shut.

Oh, God!

What will he say? Will he be mad, happy? Will he walk out on me!?

No he would never!

"Babe! Where are you?!", I heard him call for me. "We need to talk."

Shit!

"In here.", I said coming out of the bathroom putting a smile on my face.

"Hey babe, what you doin in there?", he asked looking over my shoulder.

"Nothing!", I said a little to fast slamming the door shut.

He frowned at me.

"Babe..."

"Jason."

"Rebecka."

"What?", I pouted.

"What is it.?", he said folding his arms.

I took a deep breath.

"My parents are coming over tonight.", I let out a large breath. It wasn't exactly lying.

"Yep. You told me over the phone last night.", he seemed like he was in disbelief.

"Fine. Jason I haven't had my heat in two months.", his eyes went wide and he choked on his breath.

"What! Why didn't you tell me!", he said waving his arms around.

"Because I didn't notice until today.", I said dully.

"Does that mean..."

"Yes.", I almost squealed. Jason's face was bright with joy.

"We're having a baby.", he said like he couldn't believe it himself.

"Yes.", he grabbed my hand and twirled me around. Then lifted me up.

Then he happiness died down and his smile dropped. "Shit!"

"What?", I asked conserned.

"Your dad's coming over.", I pushed my lips together. "He's gonna kill me."

"No he's not.", I said waving it off.

Jason just looked at me. I laughed and kissed his cheek.

He started to pout. "You know what else this means?"

"What?"

"No more 'us' time.", He frowned. I snaked his chest and walked up to our room to get ready. Mike, Claire, ad Elizabeth would be joining us for dinner as well. The pack house has been a little more less gray with a baby, I wonder how it would be with two? I smiled to myself.

There was a knock at the door as I got the food ready.

"Jason, they're here.", I called out.

"Ok.", he walked by to let them in and kissed my cheek.

I had the table set and was preparing myself to tell them the big news. I was hoping my father would be ok with it even though there's nothing he can do.

"Rebecka.", my mother said coming over to give me a hug. She hesitated and stepped back. "At least I know you're being fed."

"Mom, did you just call me fat!?", I felt insulted that she would say something like that about the baby even though she didn't know yet. She chuckled a bit.

"Sorry honey.", she said giving me a hug.

I could feel Jason's anxiety from across the room as my dad walked in. I think it's because they never got along.

"Hey daddy.", I said giving him a hug after he shook Jason's hand.

Mike, Claire, and the baby were sitting at the table.

"Ok why don't we eat I have some news.", everyone sat.

"What kind if news?", They all asked.

"After we eat.", I said and they all looked around.

"It's good news.", I said clearing the sky for them. They smiled.

After we had all eaten I stood up, with my coke and everyone else had wine, for a toast.

"This is to new families and loving him.", I said. Everyone toasted but looked around confused.

"New families?", my mother asked.

I took a breath, "I'm pregnant.", I smiled. The room erupted in squeals.

It was now of all time that I realized loving him, Jason mr. bad boy alpha, was one of the best choices I ever made. It my have been hard but look at where it got us.
