Matcha || (An All Might X Reader)

Every Wednesday, Toshinori would come to the tea house. He'd always order something different and sometimes he'd always asked for a recommendation whenever you serve him, and he'd always leave a nice tip and a note. Toshinori was a really sweet man. You'd always have small talk and he'd always try to make a joke, even though it'll be a bad joke you'd always laugh. You started to feel some sort of a connection with him. 

You heard the bell ring and you looked up from your phone and smiled. "Hello there Toshi." You said. "Hello there." He smiled at you and took a seat. 

"What would you like today?" You asked. 

"Matcha would be nice." He told you. You gave a nod and got the stuff ready and made your way to the boiler. "So how's your day going?" You asked making small talk while walking over towards the table. 

"It's going pretty okay, how about you?" He asked. "Pretty slow, a few people were in and out." You said. Toshi gives a dry chuckle. "What's you funny?" You asked with a smile. 

"Oh nothing." He said. The timer went off for the tea and you got his pot and stuff ready on a tray and made your way towards his table and sat it down on the table. "Here you are, piping hot." You said. "Thank you so much." 

"Care to join me?" He asked. "I'd love too, but I'm on the clock." You said. "Well...it doesn't look too busy now, and you're quite bored aren't you?" He asked. 

"I guess I can take my break now since most of the others are on break anyway." You grabbed an extra cup from behind the counter and took a seat across from the skinny blonde.

"So, what do you do?" You asked while pouring a cup of tea. "I'm a High school teacher." He said. "At what school?" You asked. "U.A." 

"Really, I went there for High School." You said. "No Kidding? That's amazing." Toshi said with a smile. "Yeah, those were the best years of my life." You sighed. 

"How is it teaching there?" You asked. "It's alright. Since it's my first time being a teacher, I'm actually learning a few things myself." The blonde said. 

He went to go pour the tea when he started coughing, causing his hand to shake. "Careful, it's gonna spill." You quickly grabbed the teapot before it spilled on Toshinori. 

"My apologies. That one snuck up on me." Toshi said while wiping his mouth. "No, it's okay. I'm glad I caught it on time." You said pouring some of the tea in his cup for him. 

"Thank you." Toshi grabbed the cup and took a sip of the hot drink. "This takes fantastic." He said. "It's nothing." You smiled again. 

"So, is this all that you have up for today?" 

"Well, I get off work in like three hours. After that, I need to run a few errands and that's about it. I really just want to crawl into my bed and nap." You said truthfully. 

"There's nothing wrong with napping." 

"That's what I've been telling everyone!" You said throwing your hands up in the air. Toshi let's another chuckle and rests his hands and looks back at his watch. "I have to get going." The small blonde took out the money for his bill and a $10 tip. "Thank you so much for the tea, (y/n)." 

"It's no problem Toshi." You shoved your tip in your pocket and placed the money for the bill in the cash register. "Hey Toshi." You called out. "Yes?" He asked. "Would you like to take some of this cake home?" You asked. 

"I would love some." You walked over towards the cake pedestal and opened up the lid. You sliced a nice peace and wrapped it up nicely and placed it in Toshi's hand. "There you are."

"How much?" He asked reaching for his wallet. "No charge." You told him. "Are you sure...I-I mean it wouldn't be..."

"No really, it's on the house." You told him. Toshi gave you a smile and nods. "Thank you." He started to make his way towards the door but then stops. "See you around." You turned around and faced Toshinori. 

"Yeah, see you soon." You smiled. The blonde left and you went back to work as a few more people came into the tea house.
