Six 🍸

Friday Evening 

Since your boss gave you Friday off, you took that time to sleep in and just chill around the house until it was time for your date. You showered, did your hair, and got dressed in a blouse and some jeans. 

You looked in the mirror for a few seconds. It's been forever since you went on a date with someone and you were pretty nervous. 

You were brought out of your thoughts when the doorbell ranged. You took a deep breath and opened the door seeing Toshi in a dark blue button-up and back skinny jeans. He gave a shy smile and wave. "Hello (y/n), you look amazing." He greets.

"Thank you, so do you." You say. 

You lock up the house and made your way to Toshi's car followed by him opening the door for you.

"So, do you often come here?" You asked while taking a seat on one of the big comfy couches at the lounge. 

"Well, yeah sometimes, after a long day of work, or just wanna wind down. And this best part is the view of the city." 

"Yeah, it's really nice." You say taking in the city lights. "And the food is good." You add on.

Toshi nods. "So, what makes you want to work at a tea house?" All might asked making small talk.

"Well, the pay is good and during that time I needed a little extra money to pay for college. My boss is cool, and I get free dumplings." You say. 

Toshi chuckles. "That sounds pretty nice. I saw that your friend wasn't there today."

"Yoko?" You asked arching your brow.

"Yeah, that one." 

"She's not really my 'Friend', she just talks to me just to get out of doing work and tries to act like my life coach. And she tries to act like my mom, and not in like...best anime mom, as in 'why the Hell are you mothering me?' if that makes any sense."

Toshi gives a dry chuckle. "I think I understand, she's like a tick basically." 

"Yes! And she doesn't get the message it's like 'Uuggah!'" 

The blonde once again laughs at your actions. "But enough about me; What made you want to be a teacher?"

"Uh..well...I like children." He says.

"It must be fun teaching at your old High school."

"Yeah, it is. It brings me back sometimes, you know." You gave a nod. "Yeah, I know." You take another sip of your drink. 

"Are you enjoying our time together? I-I mean I'm not boring you am I?" Toshi asked nervously. 

"I'm having a good time. Especially since we have food." You joked making the blonde laugh along with you. 

After food and drinks at the lounge, you both took a stroll and enjoyed the sights and bought some street food. Laughter and stories filled the night that you wished wouldn't end. 

Later that night, Toshi brought you back home and walked up to the front porch with you. "I had a lot of fun tonight." You say.

"I did as well, you're such an interesting girl (y/n)." You blushed at his comment. "Oh wait, your flowers." He said handing you the bouquet.

"Oh right, thank you." You both stared into each other's eyes for the longest until the blonde broke the tension. 

"Well, goodnight." He says.

"Goodnight." Before you could unlock the door, Toshi grabs your hand and kisses the back of it, and walks off the porch.  

You went inside and closed the door behind you letting out a sigh. 

"Damn, I should've kissed him."
