Matcha || (An All Might X Reader)

Three 🥘

"I wonder what I should cook today." You said to yourself as you were getting the last of your Groceries and leaving the convenience store. It was your day off and you decided to grab some things. You unlocked the doors to your car and started to place the bags in the backseat. Just as you were grabbing the last bag, it rips causing everything inside to fall out on the sidewalk. 

"No! Not my snacks! My precious!" You cried as you hurried to save them from being trampled by people who didn't give a shit about your precious snacks. You successfully grabbed the majority of your snacks and cradled them in your arm and was grabbing the rest. 

Suddenly you saw a familiar hand reaching for your cup noodles. You looked up and saw your favorite customer from the tea house. "Here, let me help you." He offered while helping you with putting your snacks in the car. "Thank you so much Toshinori." 

He shrugged. "It's nothing. I was just being a gentleman." He said. "Well, I appreciate it. So, what are you doing around here?" You asked to make conversation. 

"I was just thinking about grabbing a bite to eat." He said. You thought about it for a second but then gave yourself a nod. "Hey, since it's on your mind, wanna grab some lunch at my place?" You offered. Toshinori gave you a look but nervously smiled. "O-oh...no it's okay really."

"Please I insist, it's the least I can do after you helped me save my snacks. I promise you I'm not that bad of a cook." You said. 

"Well, okay." Toshinori said. He got in the passenger seat in the car and you drove off. "So how have you been?" Toshi asked. "I've been okay. How about you?"

"I've been alright." He lets out a soft cough and you looked over. "Are you sure?" You asked after hearing his cough. He nods and looks out the window. Not long you pulled up to your house and unlocked the doors. After grabbing the bags, you and Toshi entered your house and into the living room.  

"This is really nice." Toshi said looking around. "Really? I was thinking about changing it around." You said while hanging up your purse. "Would you like something to drink?" You asked as you both walked into the kitchen. 

"What do you have?" Toshinori asked while sitting on one of the bar stools by the island counter. "Well, I have water, tea, juice, booze, if you like I can make you a hot toddy for your cough." You offered. 

"Thank you so much." The skinny blonde said. You grabbed the ingredients for a hot toddy. Bourbon, honey, and lemon juice all in a cup of hot water. After stirring, you hand the cup to Toshinori. "One hot toddy." 

"Thank you." Toshinori blows and sips on the drink. "Wow, it's very strong." He said. "That's good." You grabbed the things you needed to prepare your meal. "Do you like Hot pot?" You asked. 

"I do."

"This is really delicious." Yagi said while sipping down the rest of the soup. "It's been a while since I've cooked for someone else. Well...I really don't like cooking for anyone else but, it felt nice." You said while eating the rest of your curry. 

The man chuckled. "You have a very interesting personality, my dear." You gave a soft smile and played with your fork. "Thank you." You said. You finished the rest of your dish and went to put it in the sink. "Let me help you with that." The skinny blonde said while grabbing his dish. 

"Oh, thanks."

"It's no trouble." Yagi said. After washing dishes, you two were back in the living room enjoying some snacks and small talk. "(Favorite snack name) is a snack I'll never get tired of." You said. "I can tell by all five bags/boxes you have." Yagi smirked while eating a black tea doughnut. "Yeah, yeah." You smiled.

That's when Yagi looked at the time. "I better get going." He said getting up and throwing away his wrappers. "So soon?" You asked, enjoying his company. "Yes, I have to teach in the morning." He said while grabbing his jacket. "Aw, well okay. Do you need a ride?" You asked him. "Oh, no thank you it's fine." 

"Are you sure, it's no trouble." Yagi shook his head. "I'm alright."

"Well, okay. Whenever you want to hang out again. You know where to find me." You said as you walked him to the door. "Of course. See you around (y/n)." He waves. "See you around." You closed the door behind you and let out a yawn. "That was fun." You plopped back down on the couch and turned on the TV. 

"He's so sweet." You said as you opened up another bag of snacks. "But...I can't help but think there's something...I just can't put my finger on it." You shook it off and continued watching your show.
