Chapter 7: The Breaking of Ice

The next morning I woke up bright and early, amazingly.
After taking a shower and getting dressed in my usual attire I go to make a light breakfast. My mom's already up, she smiles up at me when she sees me.
"So how did the concert go?", She says. "It was amazing, quite the experience actually!" I say, "I actually got Ciriced." She looks a bit confused. I laugh and say, "It's what Cardi does during Cirice. He'll sing to someone special." I smile and get my phone out to show her pictures. I let her scroll through them as I go to make a bagel.
"You took some amazing photos kiddo." She exclaims.  I smile at her in return. "I'm glad you had fun." She says. "Me too. I needed it." I say. She looks at me with a sad smile and walks out of the kitchen after patting me on the back softly.
"Oh yeah, I'll be heading out soon to hangout with a friend" I yell to her so she hears me. "Oh, is it a new friend?" She asks. "Something like that." I laugh as I say the words. Me getting to know Tobias still seems so off-kilter to me.
My phone dings,"Speak of the devil." I say out loud as I read the a message from Tobias.
I read the message.
Tobias: I'm ready to go if you are also good morning haha

I smile, "Oh," my mom says, "Is it a boy?" She questions with a giant smile on her face. "Yeah." I say with a blush appearing on my face. I hear her giggle a bit, "well you two have fun and make sure to tell me when you'll be home." I smile and node.

I message back Tobias and start walking to the park. We agreed to meeting at my favorite spot. Funny how were going to be hanging out at the place we accidently met at.
I put my playlist on shuffle as I walk to the park. I wasn't feeling nervous before but now with each closing step I can't help the feeling of butterflies in my throat.
Once I'm at the gate, I breath in deeply and start walking. I try to keep my cool by humming to my music. Saturday Night by The Misfits is playing. As I hum along I feel someone's presence and almost jump out of my skin when I see Tobias Next to me.
"You have wonderful music taste." He says while smiling."Saturday Night?" He asks. I smile, "Correct, Sir king of music." I say while putting my earphones away.
As we walk to my favorite area of the park we have small talk about music that we like and such.
Once we're at the pond with Willow trees surrounding it we sit at the bench I usually sit at. "What's funny is that I come here often to draw and listen to your music. And I never thought that I'd ever share one of those days with you." I laugh after spilling my thoughts. He looks to me with a smile on his face then looks towards the pond."And I never thought that I'd be sharing a view like this with someone quite as "bewitching" as you" He smirks as I groan at his joke but then a massive explosion of crimson appears on my face at the reality of what he said.
"Are you sure I didn't hit you too hard when we first met?" I ask, "I think your fall screwed with your standards." I lightly laugh as I say this.  He just smirks at me, "I'm being serious, you're quite beautiful." he blushes a bit as he says this.
Oh god, oh fuck. He's being serious.
"I don't even know if you're single or anything but so far you've been quite lovely, you've got great taste in music, and as I said, so far you've been fun to talk to." I can't help but blush more and more as he says all this.
He looks over to me, surprised at how red I am I'm sure. "Sorry to have flustered you so much." He chuckles a bit. I smile, "It's uh- fine." I stammered. "Oh and yeah- I am single.." I quietly say. A look of relief fills his face. "But before you go and ask me to be your ladylove, can we get to know each other some more?"
I big smile appears on his face,"Why of course mistress, I mean we did just meet a couple days ago and you probably know a lot more about me than I you." He snickers as he says this. "Yes, let's get to know each other some more" I smile.
"Sounds like a date to me" He giggles. Gods and devils I live for this man's laugh.

As the day goes by, by go by I mean several hours sitting at the pond getting to know each other. I never want this day to end.

Authors note: Sorry that I'm always cutting the chapters at weird parts. I have no idea how to end a chapter because I'd hate to leave you with cliff hangers, but the end of a chapter is basically a giant cliffhanger in itself?
