Chapter 14: Oh Boy

As I walk into the living room all I see are giant smiles. Wonderful. 

I sit down next to my mom, Kaley pulls an offended look, I just shrug my shoulders.

"So, what's going on?" I ask.

"Oh nothingggg, did you have fun with Mr.Satan today?" Kaley asks.

I roll my eyes and cross my arms, "In a matter of fact, yes, yes I did!"

My mom laughs, "Is he going back on tour?" she asks. I pause for a moment and sigh, "Yeah, he is. It'll be a couple of concerts till he's back." 

"Awh, I hope he's back for your birthday!" Kaley says with mischief in her eyes. "I want him to know how we throw down a party!" She practically yells.

We were all laughing while remembering my last birthday party, oy vey. It was chaos. I don't have many friends or close family members, but my parties are always crazy. Sometime's we go out sometimes we stay home. Last year we stayed home but staying home doesn't mean we're safe haha. Let's just say my 22 birthday was full of chaos. If I remember correctly, we almost became part of some cult? I dunno, I remember the horrible hangover the next morning though. Yikes.

After a while, Kaley and I went out. I decided to use my car since I didn't wanna hear Kaley complain about walking. We decided to go to Burger King and see if the "Unhappy Meals" were in our area. And surprisingly, they were! I think we were a bit too happy hah. Once we sat down and looked at the boxes, Kaley couldn't stop laughing and neither could I. 

As we ate, it was surprisingly quiet. For a little bit anyway. 

"So your mom told me that Tob's stayed the night twice in a rowww." Kaley says while wiggling her eyebrows. I smirk and raise an eyebrow, "No Kaley, sorry to burst your bubble. It was cuddling, not a Birds and the Bee's lesson."I say. 

"Awh, I was hoping to get some steamy details!" She says. I nearly shoot my sprite out of my nose. "K-KALEY!" I stare at her, "My romance life is none of your business." I say dramatically. 

We stare at each other for a couple of seconds then burst out in laughter. Gosh, it's great to hang out with her again. "I'll tell you when we get back to my house." I say while still laughing.

Once we're back to my house Kaley decides to spend the night, yes 20 yr olds can have sleepovers. Like a ritual, we always watch a horror movie with snacks when we have a sleepover. Its been that way since middle school. Luckily we always keep a 2 liter of Sundrop in the fridge for Kaley. Sundrop is basically her fuel. 

After making popcorn and chicken wings we get settled in my room. We look through our options and decide on The Shining. I've seen it many times before but I'm not sure if she has. Scary movies don't scare us much anymore though, we usually just laugh at them. We could be psychotic.

After a while, Kaley turns to me and flicks a piece of popcorn at me with a giant smirk on her face. "What?" I say. 

"I hope ya'll didn't fuck or anything because I know you haven't changed the sheets." She says while laughing. I throw a pillow at her, "No, we didn't. But we did have an intense makeout session." I say and instantly regret telling her. She has a huge as smirk with raised eyebrows. 

"Oooooo." She says. 

"Oh shut up."

When the movie is finished it's 1 AM and Kaley insists on baking. Great. I let her gather the supplies as I check my phone since she knows where everything is. There's a message from Tobias from a couple of hours ago. Crap. 

But as I read the message I smile.

Tobias: Hello älskling, I'm about to board the plane and I just wanted to remind you that I'll be back before you know it! I hope the rest of your day is good and I'm going to miss you like crazy. I have to go now, I'll text you when I can älskling.

I smile and text him back. Once I've finished replying Kaley is raising an eyebrow at me. I nervously laugh as I help her with whatever the hell she's trying to bake. 

After a little while, the peanut butter cookies are done and I'm tired as hell. And the kitchen is a bloody mess. Kaley tries to eat one but I swat her hand then point to the mess. She laughs nervously. We clean the kitchen and take a cookie or two to my room. 

A bit afterward we're finally back in bed and about to fall asleep when all the sudden I get a message. I look and see it's an unknown number and ignore it. Then I'm off to dreamland. 

Authors Note: My back is killing me so I'm going to end the chapter here. Sorry that it's so short! I was going to update "For Now, Hold Me" tonight too but my back says no.
