Arc 1 Chapter 5

Cherry Lin could not understand why this is happening to her.

She was sure that the Professors would give her good grades! But to have an "F" before she take her internship and she did not even know of it!?

Now what!?!

Cherry Lin felt frustrated. So much that she felt like tearing her hair from her scalp.

Cherry Lin was aiming for the Jin Corp, to be their intern and catch a big fish there that could pull her from and save her from the sinking boat she is in. That was her plan but why is it that in the crucial moments, it was chipped and melted away piece by piece!?

Cherry Lin did not know that the big fish (opportunity) she was waiting to enter her net was eaten up by a Great White Shark known as Cordilia Jade.

"Xian Er.... What are you doing?" the Male Lead frowned as he grabbed his little sister and made her sit on the wheel chair and picked up the pudding on the table.

No servant was in sight, Cordilia does not like being served. Although it has been many years, she prefer doing things her way.

"Hello, Little Blind" a hand descended and messed up Cordilia's well combed hair.

"Baka onii san" Cordilia greeted back.

The man felt depressed then after hearing it. This man is the Second Male Lead, Richard Oliver, and the best friend of the Male Lead, Jin Xuan Ming. The he's a Half French and half American but his grandmother on his mother's side was a Chinese.

As expected, if the Male Lead is cold and aloof aka Ice Prince, the Second Male Lead would be bright and Cheerful, the Prince of Smiles. But Cordilia is aware that this man is more ruthless than her brother if angered.

"What are you doing, you could have ask for help" He said and invited himself to take a seat.

"I could have, but everyone has their day off today so it's only me here and Butler Sun, but he was preparing for our meal, I could not bear disturb him. I am planning to even order, after all, Butler Sun is in his 60s" Cordilia said as she opened her mouth and took a bite on the pudding in the spoon that was feed on her by Richard Oliver, the pudding was snatched from the Male Lead.

"What a considerate person you are, Little Blind" Richard laughed

"Hm..." Cordilia shrugged

The other brothers are out and about on their own job. Jin Kun was on Hollywood right now doing some interview, Jin Ling Hua was busy supervising the new fashion studio, he was an Engineer. Jin Ling was having a World Tour with his and Mates, obvious he is a Star. And as for Jin Huang Er, he was a Famous Model together with Mother Jin, Father Jin is having a bonding time with his friend in highschool.

"Brother, why is he here? Could it be he broke up with his girlfriend and in a mourning period? So he was brought here for counciling and comforting" and Cordilia asked as she was feed again.

"Yes. Little Blind, my heart is bleeding, you must help patch it" Richard laughed, Cordilia forgot to note it down, he was a known flirt. He changed his girls like how he changes his clothes.

"It was your fault for flirting with other girls while you have a girlfriend" Cordilia said and leaned back on her chair.

"I just could not help it. They are irresistible" Richard grinned with a toothy grin.

"Fine. Fine, I will, geez, what an annoying person" Cordilia scoffed

"Stay here and doing do anything stupid. Richard and I are going to discuss about business" Jin Xuan Er said

"I want to go too" Cordilia said

"Little Blind, what do you know about business" Richard pinched Cordilia's cheeks

"It's for my story material, duh. Leisure Night is in two days. I need materials, sooner or later I'd ran out of ideas, you know" Cordilia said before Jin Xuan Ming gave his consent

Cordilia listened as they discuss their business plan and about the other things like the board members mooching off the Companies Budgets, other business partners they could guard against.

"You guys could hire more Secretaries" Cordilia suggested, making the other two looked at her with incredulous expression.

"Hear me out. The more secretaries you have the better. Those guys will most likely take bargain from those board members, you can tell them that it is allowed as long as the bargains they received accompanied by a proper and profitable proposal. If you praise those secretaries of your about how they should do this for more money, they would be more confident but it must be kept a secret and you guys would pretend you did not know on the surface, those board members are smart, they would be able to figure out that you guys know but you deliberately accepted the proposals because they being more profit. Meanwhile, those that are not profitable would easily be rejected. You can even have your secretary or assistant do your paper work and send in the summary to you to make your job easier. After all, the CEO's job is to give approval or rejection. Those paperwork on your desk are something that your board members should do. They have brains so they must use it, therefore, they are old enough to know if their proposals are good or not. Simple as that" Cordilia said as she shifted on her wheelchair

The two keep staring at her.

"Those Secretaries will work as double agents you know. And so does the spies in the company. If they give you information on the other side, then you can guard against them, those spies would be hard to crack but they should be aware that if they are fired, then they would lose the trust on the other side. They would be at the disadvantage. They would be tossed to the side like a broken toy" Cordilia said casually

"And to your employees? You need a thorough investigation. Most of the higher ups will get lazy and hand off their jobs to other people while they took the credits. Brother, you need to thoroughly weed out the lazy bums and gather more hardworking applicants" Cordilia said

"That's a pretty smart thing to do, Little Blind" Richard laughed

"It's common sense, duh. Anyone who is not stupid could use this tactic" Cordilia scoffed.

The two seemed to have an trow shot to their chest nd was labeled 'Stupid' by a blind girl who did not even go to school. Really, it's shameful.

'Alas, of she was not blind.... How wonderful would it be? She would be brilliant'

"Say, Little Blind. My Mother is looking for you and wants to have dinner with you tomorrow, so could you come?" Richard grinned

Jin Xuan Ming sent a glare on his friend and shook his head.

"I could go. Auntie always makes the best cookies" Cordilia said before Butler Son entered, Jin Xuan King signaled him to take Cordilia first.

"Could you please stop playing with my sister again and again? Don't bother her if she is not interested" Jin Xuan Ming said in annoyance

"Aw... Don't be jealous" Richard teased

"No. I am just worried. After all, my sister is blind, even with a powerful backer, household's will hesitate to take her in. Don't make her fall in love with you if you are not serious with her" Jin Xuan Ming said

He was getting annoyed at the fact that everytime his friend has a new grildfirend, he'd dump his relationship with his sister and if he broke up with her new girlfriend, he'd come running to his sister. And his gullible sister accepts the idiot. Every. Single. Damn. Time!
