Arc 6 Chapter 4

Pushing the door open, Cordilia followed the Maid inside.

Cordilia blinked a few time to adjust her sight in the darkness.

'It seems like this time... Its when Vampires and Sun still does not mix' Cordilia thought

[Correct... All of them aside from the current King, Francis Baltazar. His ability is to produce light. He is someone they cannot afford to offend, otherwise they'll be toasted.... Literally] A'Yuan explained before he glitches, [Lucifer is tampering time again. I have to go, take care and behave!] A'Yuan disappeared after that, not waiting for a reply from Cordilia.

'....... A'Yuan... Don't leave so soon' Cordilia sighed and fought tooth and nail from raising her chin in the air

Cordilia could feel the incredulous gazes on her. She could understand, they are inquiring how she was able to heal such grave injuries, for human standard, and come out completely fine in just one night.

'... Your Royal Highness, are you sure this girl is not a Vampire? Even Half Blood will still limp occasionally'

"... Kurt.... This girl is a stain to my eyes. Break her legs" Lucifer said

Cordilia screamed bloody murder in her head before she jump back to avoid the sword that was meant to cut her legs.

"Is this all a game to you, your Royal Pain in the Ass!?" Cordilia raged and avoided the blade

"It is. After all, it's not every day you see an insect fought like a ferocious kitty" Lucifer smiled, clearly entertained.

Cordilia snarled, dropping alk of her timid appearance that she had agreed to put on... She ripped it off and stomped on it to the ground, 'Sorry A'Yuan... But screw the plan, I'm taking this guy down!' Cordilia thought before she charged in

Summoning twin Katanas from her Space, Cordilia twirled them and charged in. These were the very same katana Cordilia used back in the Zombie World, the other one was from Nagong Ye.

Wilding the blade, Cordilia had trained Swordsmanship far more seriously than Martial Arts, despite the years gap of training. It's safe to say that Cordilia like using weapons more than her fists.

Like Dancing, Cordilia lead Kurt along as they both danced a deadly pace, blades clashing and sparks flew everywhere.

"..... You're different" Kurt said as he was locked in a deadlock, Cordilia smirked and swiped her katana, intending to slice his waist in half, Kurt had leaped away before she could land a hit

"You have no idea" Cordilia charged in as well, swapping from one sword to another, her attacks were aggressive and fast.

Kurt felt cold sweat rolling down his back, this girl in front of him, it send bells rang loudly in his head, 'This girl is dangerous.... I don't like it'

Kurt had teleported out of Cordilia's ranged.

Cordilia held her katana tightly and got herself ready for the onslaught attack that would soon befall unto her.

'He use Teleportation..... This is bad... With his Stamina and Endurance, Teleporting rapidly would not be difficult for him, specially if its only in short distance. He is already fast as he is.... It will make him appeared 3 or 4 places at once' Cordilia nervously held her ground

A small ripple sound could be heard in the ballroom, that was the signal they needed before they charged at one another.

Cordilia's sense had blared and shot to the rooftop. Her personal space was invaded in different direction. Cordilia was forced in the defence position. Defending herself in all direction to avoid being dissected by her opponent.

"..... Amazing.... To think that a human could be able to pull such a stunt.... Is it possible that she was sent as a spy? I don't believe that humans would be able to cultivate and nurture such a weapon by their side" The council had allowed themselves to push forth their hypothesis as they watched the fight.

Kurt was impressed by this little human but he cannot afford to drag this fight for much longer. His speed quickened and this allowed his blade to leave thin but long gashes all over Cordilia's body.

".... Damn it!" Cordilia panted and winced in pain, using her katana as her support to avoid herself from plopping to the ground in a heap

Her knees were trembling, apart from the gashes in her arms, her legs took most damage, its painful even if she was kneeling. Cordilia panted and raised her head, looking at Kurt with an unwilling expression.

'Lost once to you? Shame on you. Definately not going to lose twice else it'll be a Shame on me.... I will not let all my hard work... Become a pile to thrash in your feet!' Cordilia thought before she shakily stood up to her feet, her legs shaken while she did so.

Circulating internal energy in her body, Cordilia dashed forward. She did not know where her strength come from but it made it seems like she had teleported.

Cordilia successfully skewered her opponent. Directly missing his heart.

"...... Heh. Is it my win today?" Cordilia tiredly smirked

Kurt looked at the girl with stunned expression before he calmed down, "No... Its a tie" without warning, he stabbed his sword into Cordilia's stomach

Cordilia cough up blood, closing her eyes as she reign in her emotions.... Unbelievable....

Cordilia clenched her fist.

"No... Its definitely... My Win!" Cordilia suddenly raised her fist and punched Kurt in the face, sending him soaring towards the window, shrieking as he did so and scrambling to avoid the sunlight.

Cordilia snickered before she cough up another miuthfuk of blood and fell bonelessly to the floor once again unconscious.

The entire ball was silent.

Lucifer had a mysterious smile as he stood up, approaching the girl and roughly pulled the sword out.

Everyone almost had their heart beating in shock when Lucifer bent down and carried the human girl into his arms and left the ballroom.

"Little Rabbit, you fought well"
