Cordilia wondered where her family's A'Yuan went off to.

"Stop spacing out. We're being called by the Emperor" Xue Jin Ying said, Cordilia nodded as they calmly walked side by side.

"I should do the talking" Cordilia suggested

"Naturally, you are going to be the one taking responsibility" Xue Jin Ying agreed shamelessly

"Ah? Aren't I the one who had been taken advantage of? Aren't these love bites on my neck a proof to that?" Cordilia raised a brow

"Aren't you the one who stripped me. Have some shame and take responsibilities" Xue Jin Ying rebuked.

'I'm doing it for the both of us, okay!? Don't misunderstand! It doesn't mean that you are handsome, I'll kneel down and express my undying love for you, I am not that shallow, okay! (╬ಠ益ಠ)'

Cordilia got annoyed yet she forced her anger down.

Arriving in the hall where dozens of pairs of eyes drilling holes at them with judgement gaze and contempt, as well as joy for having fallen in such disgrace.

Cordilia kept her chin up and porpusely slow down for the sake of the man next to her.

Arriving in front of the Emperor, the two knelt down in greetings and show their respect and greeting.

"This subject knows, however, this subject did not regret it" Cordilia replied, causing an uproar in the hall

Another uproar with her words, Cordilia was getting tired of the routine in which consist of:

This routine gets old pretty fast, did you guys know?

"Oh? Is that so?" The Emperor raised a brow as he tried to think of what this Princess General is up to now

"Answering to your Majesty, it is indeed true. This Princess General and Prince of Da Xue has been lovers after our first meeting, indeed, it was love at first sight. Asking the Emperor for his blessings" Cordilia lied smoothly, her story making has been triggered, she was desperate, okay? Everyone has their own guesses but they were not prepared on Cordilia's next words.

Another uproar could be heard but Cordilia did not mind, she felt Xue Jin Ying glanced at her but Cordilia kept her gaze on the ground.

"You wish to return to Da Xue with Prince Xue Jin Ying?" the Emperor frowned and felt this is not a good idea

The Emperor was in a delimma. If he did not let them go, then he will be viewed as a heartless monarch but if he did, he feared rebellion. Its just that when Cordilia squeezed out tears, he cracked.

After all, who could resist a beautiful and prideful woman begging to be free? Specially if that woman is known to possess a heart of stone.
