Arc 2 Chapter 9

5 years has passed, Cordilia watched on the sidelines as the plot progressed but not in the way that it used to be.

The Male Lead that was supposed to not taken in a Concubine because of his promise to his Female Lead, whom he had married for a year now, had been broken.

The perpetrator? Cordilia, of course.

But since Cordilia was doing nothing but stroll around the Capital and she always has an alias with her, the pig teammate Mo Yue Xin, no one can touch her and no one could even thought of why she would scheme for the 5th Prince to have a Concubine every random date every month.

Feng Qian suspected it was Feng Xian Er but if she thought about it, her red head friend had been busy arguing and headbutting with Mo Yue Xin and watch her back from the schemes so it can't be her.

"Alas, you are here once again. If I have known better, I would say you are in love with me but being a Tsundere" Cordilia sighed as she looked at Mo Yue Xin who grew angry

"Who's in love with you!?! In your dreams, you damn bitch!" Mo Yue Xin gritted her teeth, Cordilia shrugged

"You have another scheme against me?" Cordilia asked casually as Mo Yue Xin sat next to her.

Mo Yue Xin just became the 6th Prince's Consort, thus they have equal footing.

Not many people mind the two fighting cat and mouse, they enjoyed the play than watching the redundant singing and dancing.

Everyone knows that Feng Xian Er and Mo Yue Xin does not mix and always at each other's throat every single time they meet. However, there is something they do not understand, these two cat and dog are far more closer to each other, they understand each other and bad mouthed whenever they have the chance but the hostility was not strong as it used to be. As if they are just arguing for the sake of their routine or they are just that bored.

Opposite Attraction, their bond were stronger than sisters and they are simply inseparable.

(A/N: don't misunderstand, this is not Yuri or girlxgirl. I am not discriminating but I am referring to a best friend bond or sibling jodn that was accumulated over the years. I was told that if one wanted to befriend the other, one must know how to make the other angry and learn from it, so you won't have to worry about setting the other off and know how to avoid the subject that you know is a land mine. At least that's what my grandmother told me)

"Be thankful, I am helping you" Mo Yue Xin scoffed

"Ah, doing it out of good will, now I am nervous" Cordilia laughed lightly as she fanned herself

"Heh, you better be. It will be fun, for me that is" Mo Yue Xin did not bother hiding the fact that she is planning on scheming against Cordilia, in front of so many others.

"En. I can't wait. Its just you must expect my retaliation" Cordilia smirked, Mo Yue Xin scoffed and turned her head to another direction and raised her chin arrogantly.

The 6th Prince sighed at his Princess Consort helplessly, she's still wild and ran amok like an untamed beast.

Meanwhile, Feng Qian could not understand how are these two even friends?

Cordilia drank the tea that she knew has aphrodisiac on it. She knew, System alerted her, but Cordilia was confident that she will handle the effect.

When the Winter Banquest began, Cordilia felt flustered and hot all over..

And so, Cordilia pretend to feel dizzy before she slowly let the poison cloud her mind, only slightly.

Feng Qian was about to intervene, but was held back by her brother Feng Shirui.

"Don't. That woman know this will happen yet she still dare jump on the trap, she brought this upon herself, don't get involve" Feng Shirui said, Feng Qian felt conflicted before she sat back down and watched as the maid escorts Feng Xian Er away.

Cordilia was escort by the maid before she was pushed inside the room, she stumbled in before she heard the door was locked from outside.

Cordilia struggled to stand up and calmed down her breathing, she still have her rationality.

'A'Yuan, wash out the poison from my body' Cordilia said, A'Yuan did so

Cordilia looked at the bed where she felt a old stare drilling on her head.

"Your highness" Cordilia slightly nod her head in acknowledgement.

"Miss Feng? Ah, you must be here because of a scheme, from 6th Princess Consort I presume" Xue Jin Ying said

Cordilia nodded as she observe this person. He is indeed sick but his Aura and demeanour made Cordilia felt a chill on her back. Dangerous.

"You know yet you're here. I cannot decided if you are stupid or just seeking for trouble" Xue Jin Ying said

"Your Highness, answer me one thing, do you wish to go back to your kingdom?" Cordilia asked, Xue Jin Ying quirked his lips

"Oh? What does that have to do with you?" Xue Jin Ying shifted in a more comfortable position.

"I can help you go back to your kingdom. You are meant to stay here for another 10 years right? Way past your prime and your Father Emperor Haa been doing everything in his power for you life to be comfortable here and if possible, bring you back. Your Father Emperor has no other sons but you and he has no brothers. The Ministers will sooner or later start a civil war to bring your family down. If that happens, do you think that you will be let off?" Cordilia raised a brow

"I'm listening" Xue Jin Ying motioned the Red haired girl to continue with amusement and interest in his eyes

"If you work with me, I would be able to help you back to your country but you have to marry me" Cordilia said, Xue Jin Ying raised a brow

"Crazy as it sounded but this is the plan that I could only come up with, I dislike this place that forcefully kept me in. I would do anything to get out and I asume you would do the same. I don't care if I am a Concubine or not" Cordilia said, Xue Jin Ying stared at Cordilia who walked over, determination and certainty in her eyes.

"Fine. Let's give it a shot. I have nothing to lose" Xue Jin Ying smirked and pulled Cordilia on his bed
