All I could do is cry and cry into Josh's shoulder. I finally felt like this ongoing nightmare would be over. With that thought, I started laughing hysterically. so hysterically in fact that Josh and the medic,  both looked at me as if I were a psycho killer. "Hunter," Josh started, "Are you okay? you're sounding a bit hysterical..." His voice trailed off at that last word as if he were thinking deeply about what to say next. "I'm fine Josh just now realizing that Satin is dead." "Satin?" he replied with this adorable look in his eyes that were just filled with curiosity just like a puppy's. "I'm talking about Ms. DeDe!" When he heard this he started laughing too but more of a concerned laugh. All of a sudden the world was spinning and I couldn't breathe as if I were drowning underwater then everything went black.

Josh's POV

The ambulance was rushed to the hospital as fast as it could go. Hunter was unconscious, my heart was racing, I couldn't think or do anything. I couldn't help but feel as though this is my fault.

We got to the hospital Hunter was being rushed in. Some doctors pulled me aside from the stretcher. "What's happening to him? What are they going to do with him?" "Sir? Sir! I need you to calm down everything will be okay." I look over and a doctor was standing right next to me trying to calm me down. Sir? I need you to fill out some papers for me. Are you the guardian to that child?" "No, I was just about to adopt him then the orphanage leader started to hit the both of us and she was shot and we were both hit by her whip and..." "Slow down, what's your name?" I hadn't even realized that I was moved into the waiting room with the doctor next to me to help me fill out the paperwork. "My name is Josh. Josh Dun." "Okay, Mr. Dun now we're getting somewhere. Now tell me what happened." I tell her about what had happened today to Hunter and I. "Okay now, I going to need you to do one more thing for me." "What would that be?" She hands me an adoption paper to fill out. "you said you wanted to adopt him right?" "I do I just... I just don't know if now is the right time, but I feel like he needs me now." "do you have someone to consult about it just to make sure that you aren't making rash decisions." I try to think. Tyler? No, he would just be concerned about me. pun intended. Jordan? Abby? Ashley? Nah, they wouldn't know how to handle it either. I finally figure out who. "My mom. My mom would know how to handle this, she said it would be a good idea any way now that my brother and sisters have moved out, she always wanted to adopt as well so maybe, she could help?" "Josh was it?" The doctor asked me. "yeah it was." "Josh I think that's a great idea. For now, I have to go but I will be back soon to check in on you, okay?" "okay."
