Chapter 8

"Hawk"
"yes Rose" his voice calm and gentle
"I want this moment to last forever but I have to go my mum would be worried"
"oh do you really have to go" disappointed that she had to go she looked at him and gave him a quick kiss on his lips "we should do this again sometime" and she began to walk towards the portal "wait, Rose," and he put his arm around her and the started to walk "I have an idea snow magic" Hawk raised his wand and in front of them a trail of ice leads to the portal with snow at the sides.
Rose's heeled boots transformed into white ice skates with a pink accent and tiny pumpkins printed on them "I love them" twirling around she almost fell but Hawk had caught her, he was wearing blue skates with red apples on them he took ahold of Rose's hand as they skated gracefully towards the portal.
When they got there the ice and snow faded and their shoes transformed back to normal which made Rose a bit sad as she really liked them and could add them to her fairytale collection.
Rose gave her Prince a kiss goodbye before telling him she loves him and she stepped through the portal.

"Awe that was so cute" Hawk turned around startled to see Astoria, Joy, and Travis standing behind a hedge
Hawk blushed so hard then it faded "wait what are you doing here" he was puzzled for a moment wait is spying on me
"noooooooooooo," they all say trying not to laugh and smile.
"you are"
"Okay you caught us but in our defense, you make the cutest couple" Hawk's cheeks turned a rose pink color when hearing that.
"look guys he is turning pink"
"Goodnight you lot" Hawk quickly called his dragon and left to back to snow-white Castle where he fell asleep thinking about Rose.

(The next day, day of the ball)

Rose woke bright and early actually eager to go to school and no shoe sale was going to stop her.
"good morning mom" she rushed into the kitchen to get some breakfast ( soft boiled egg with toast cut into slices to dip in the yolk) "thanks dad that was yummy" she gave him a hug and went back upstairs to brush her teeth and get ready for school.
This time she walked down the stairs more slowly.
"so Rose who you taking to the ball" her mother Clara asked
"just a friend" was the reply but in a shy tone
"oh really is it just a friend" Clara smiled and said in a playful tone know that she was going with Hawk (H.M Cinderella told her A.K.A Clara's mother)
Rose quickly ran out of the front trying not to let her dad notice.
"what was all that about?" Dave asked Clara "I believe it's called love" and she hugged her husband.

Along the way, to the secret doorway, she bumped into Travis "hello Rose"
"good morning Travis" she chirped happily
"someone's in a happy mood" Rose just smiled.
"I wonder could it be because of a certain blue-haired boy" Rose immediately turned rouge and smiled.
It wasn't long before they reached the secret door and Travis pulled out his key "ough I wanna do it" Rose takes the key with a huge smile on her face
"now erm what was the magic words"
Oh well, she put the key in and opened the door before Travis could stop her she jumped in.
"wheeeeeeeeeee" she screamed as she fell through the sky. Travis jumped inside after her "wait for Rose" as he entered the portal he to started falling
Luckily for Travis the campus dragon spotted him falling and caught him before the dragon could catch up to Rose she landed in somebody's arms she looked up and saw two sparkling blue eyes and a big beautiful smile
"hello princess"
"good morning my Prince" and she wrapped her arms around Hawk as his dragon took them safely to the ground.

As they landed Astoria and Joy ran to meet Rose but stopped when they saw Hawk helping her down from his dragon, their eyes widen looking at each other "adorable."

Rose and Hawk turned around blushing and smiling "stop it you two"
They were about to head off then Travis came crashing down with a thud "bad luck beast" everyone started laughing.

(another part of the school)

"Dr.Facilier what's the plan"
"Well Vicky tomorrow will be the ball everyone in one place would be the perfect time to strike I'll use the creature to draw the heroes attention away from the ball where you'll use the vial I gave you, pour it on your wand it will grant you the ability to steal the magic of your teachers." all three of them laughed with evil intentions.
