Chapter 26

The warm embrace abruptly ended when bells began ringing from the school.
"Oh no we're going to be late Hawk"
Rose began walking off to the school, Hawk grabbed Rose's right wrist and pulled Rose closer to him hi, gently placing his right hand around the back of Rose's neck, he pressed his warm lips against hers their eyes slowly closing, moments passed before Rose broke the kiss "Come on Hawk" Hawk's hand had slipped down on her back as he looked into her blue eyes that glistened. "Rose I want to feel like this everyday of my life, and I will do anything to make you happy, I will protect you with my life."
"That's super sweet Hawk" she kisses him
"Rose everyday without you I feel heartache and just miserable, you are the only person who makes me feel alive, I love you so much Rose and nothing will ever change the way I feel about you"
Shocked and lost for words all she could do was smile her beautiful smile at him with teary eyes "I love you so much too Hawk" with her soft hands she wraps them and him and they share a long loving kiss together.
Not long they broke their kiss and took a slow walk back to the school as the birds chirped and the sun brightly lit up the blue sky.
At the school Astoria, Joy and Travis was in potions class worrying why both Rose and Hawk wasn't at school, Dr LeFrog almost finished handing out assignments when he came to Astoria "Your team will be making a time potion what where is the rest of your team?"
They all looked at the Dr LeFrog with blank expressions on their face "erm.. Well.. You see"
Astoria was about to answer when Rose and Hawk burst in holding hands with big smiles on their faces.
The whole room gasped and started to fill with murmors, Rose felt the eyes of her classmates staring at her. Hawk stepped in front of her looking into her eyes his hands interlocked with hers. "Look at me Rose don't you even dare let them inside your head, you're a strong and beautiful lady and as long as I walk this earth I'll always be here for you." Hawk leans in to kiss his princess when Dr.LeFrog interrupts "Nice of you to join us now like I told Astoria and the rest of your friends your assignment is to create a  potion by the end of the week.
Dr.LeFrog hands them a sheet of paper that contain the ingredients to Astoria. "alright then lets see what we need to make this potion" and she began to scan through the list while saying them to herself while the rest of her friends huddled around her trying to read it.
"well then" the others all asked her " what does it say?"
"Oh yeah sorry" Astoria face palms before reading the ingredients needed for the potion;
"1xDragon scale from the nebula dragon.
1xPouch of stardust.
2xVials of liquid quartz.
1xFeather from the golden goose.
5xFlocian beans."
Astoria was looked upon with puzzled faces by her friends "erm Astoria?"
"Yes Joy" "where would we find flocian beans?" Astoria looked up from the sheet of paper and opened her mouth to answer then quickly closed it as she didn't actually know. Astoria slowly approached Dr.Lefrog and putting her hand on his shoulder spoke.
"Excuse me professer"
"Yes" Astoria
"Well you see sir we was wondering where would we actually find the flocian beans?" a look of curiosity overfilled her face.
"Hmm let me see" Dr.Lefrog walked towards a large mahogany book shell and began scanning through the range of books until he found a large old leather binded book and pulled it out giving it a blow creating a large cloud of dust, which made him cough
"Here we go the legend of Nazuli"
Travis quickly questioned who Nazuli was, when Astoria turned around with a stern look in her eye quickly shutting up Travis,allowing Dr.Lefrog to continue what he was saying.
"Now Nazuli was an ancient being who came from a distant world called Mythrial that's supposedly a lush planet filled with all types of plants and forests, it is said that the flocian been grows in the thickest jungles"he licked his lips as he thought of the insects that would be there
"Eww and thankyou Sir" they all said in unison as they walked towards the classroom doors storming a plan to get the items, they just got to the door when they realised non of the them knew how to get there, Dr.Lefrog cleared his throat alright class each take a Key and whatever you don't don't lose it it's the only way to go between our worlds, one person from each group went to pick up a key. Astoria was the one to get the key for her group.
After picking up the key they went to gate portal chatting along the way Rose and Hawk slowly walked behind the others fingers interlocking with each other until they reached the gate portal, Astoria reached into her pocket to pull out the key and immediately retracted her hand out her pocket "eww that's gross"
"What's wrong Astoria?" Asked Joy
"This key is so slimy" she slowly pulled out the key which started dripping with black tar like slime which made them wanna use the key quickly and that they did Astoria shoved it into the key whole and turned it.

The key clicked into place before the portal whizzed to life, a purple whirling energy formed in the metal gate, quickly they walked through almost in pairs apart from Hawk who  walked slightly in front of Rose still holding her hand as he cautiously entered the portal weary of what could be on the other side.
