Chapter 25

Rose was already awake when her alarm went off she didn't get any sleep last night as her stomach was full of butterfly's due to been nervous of what others would think about her that and she started having nightmares, she began to question herself was she really ready to go back to school? What if her friends don't want to hang out with her anymore?. Putting the thoughts of her friends leaving her in the back of her mind she slowly got out of bed and began to get ready for school, finding clothes that would cover her bruises and cuts.
Hawk, however, was already outside pacing up and down the pathway leading to Cinderella Castle waiting patiently for Rose.
Hawk's eyes lit up when he heard the castle doors groaning open (the doors open inwards) from the shadow out stepped Rose. "Good morning Hawk" with a smile on her face, though she was a bit nervous. "Good *Yawns* morning Rose" then he kissed Rose's lips, just a quick peck while wrapping his arms around her "How are you Rose?"
"I am just a bit tired and kinda nervous, what about you Hawk?"
"Well I didn't get much sleep but other than that I am okay, and you have nothing to be nervous about Rose they will still be your friends and no one is going to judge plus I'll always be here for you." He gives Rose a kiss on her cheek. "Yeah your right" feeling Hawk's lips on her cheek made her smile and they both happily walked to school hand in hand.
Though there was still an hour to go before school actually started, Rose and Hawk didn't mind if it meant they got to spend quality time with each other before Rose is bombarded with questions from her friends.
Rose seized up with her mind racing with scenarios of how the day will go, a single tear trickled down her soft smooth skin while her grip on Hawk tightened like a vice.
"Rose?" Hawk's voice was full of worry as he turned to face Rose, in an instant he could tell she was still uneasy about going back to school.
"Look Rose we don't have to go today, there will always be another day"
He gently wiped away her tear with his tear absorbing thumb.
The warmth oh his hand on her cheek comforted her, she put her hand on top of his as a smile broke on her face.
"It's okay Hawk I want to do this" then she smoothly turned her head and kissed his hand. "I love you Hawk White "
"And I love you Rose Cinderella, and there is nothing that will change that"
Rose couldn't stop blushing till she felt Hawk gently tug her arm "Come with me Rose" and she started to follow him. "Where are we going?, What about school?" Hawk gave off a little chuckle "we still have a long time before school starts"
"Okay so where are we going?"
"That's a secret" They headed down a stone brick path as they went further along the path it began to change into grass with a slight incline, as they reached the end of the path Hawk stopped "This is where I come when I want to get away from it all" "Wow Hawk this is beautiful"
"Not as beautiful as you Rose"
The path they took lead up to a cliff side that overlooked the golden sand, and the Egyptian blue sea that crashes into the bottom of the cliff leaving a moon white sea foam.
On top of the cliff stands an old willow tree that sways in the breeze, there is also a small flower garden with a wide range of flowers from roses to irises and matthiola incana around the flower garden stood proud a couple sunflowers. Since Hawk has been the only going there he made a few icy additions to the place mainly statues though first of horses, then dragons and so on but recently they where of Rose and she was always smiling.
Rose sat happily under the willow tree while Hawk stood looking out at the ocean, the cool breeze stroked Rose's delicate skin and she let out a little shiver, as quick as lightning Hawk gave Rose a cuddle warming her up with his body heat "Wait here I'll be right back"
"where are you" before Rose could finish her sentence Hawk was already making his way down the grassy path.
With nothing to do Rose quietly looked out towards the ocean, it was a magnificent sight she thought to herself taking a deep breath she could smell the salt air from the sea, that changed to the sweetness and freshness of the flowers, though one typical scent caught her attention it was a spicy cinnamon and clove scent she slowly treaded by garden smelling each flower as she went near them coming to a halt at the matthiola incana she took one big sniff then let out a sigh of relief and happiness as her mind was clear.
Meanwhile while Rose was smelling the flowers Hawk had returned and quietly took in Rose's outstanding beauty and how much he really cared for her he knew she was going to be the one, as he approached her he was careful not to make a sound until he was right behind Rose, he covered her eyes with his hands "Guess who?" he tried to sound like a Travis but Rose wasn't fooled."Hhmm who could it be" she teased Hawk as she reached behind her and began tickling Hawk who couldn't help but burst out in laughter "Okay okay you got me" he quickly removed his hands and Rose stopped tickling him "Where did you go?" her voice filled with curiosity, Hawk slowly calmed down from the laughing fit and put his bag on the floor opening it up and pulling out a blanket he then wrapped Rose in it before giving her a kiss and took out a guitar.
Rose looked at him with amazement in her eyes as they sparkled "You didn't have to" she was cut off by Hawk placing a single finger against her warm soft lips " I want to" he told Rose, and he started singing, When you say nothing at all by Alison Krauss.

When Hawk had finished singing Rose bursted out with tears as Hawk cradled his sweet angel in his arms.
