Chapter Thirty-Six.

"I can't believe they ditched me." Seungmin mumbled to himself as he headed to Changbin's apartment.

He was upset that Changbin ditched him, and didn't even let him know that he wasn't going to be in math. And usually Changbin always lets him know if he was gonna be missing.

Seungmin was mostly upset that he wasn't getting to spend time with the older. Changbin was the younger's best friend to him. Even if he was mean to him, Seungmin always loved Changbin whether he showed it or not.

It was around 5 in the afternoon now, as Seungmin made his way down the sidewalk.

He approached the door and began knocking.

No one answered until he knocked again.

"Oh, hey Seungmin. Come on in." Jisung said as he opened the door.

"What brings you here?" Jisung asked as they walked into the living room.

"Um, I was looking for Changbin. Is he here?"

"Nope. I think he said he was with Felix. You're more than welcome to watch this movie with me and Minho."

"Ah, no thanks, and hey Minho." Seungmin waved as he smiled.

Minho waved back as he stuffed his face full of popcorn with his other hand.

"Well, I can tell him you came by." Jisung offered as he sat down beside of Minho.

"Um, yeah, thanks Jisung. I'll talk to you guys later." Seungmin said before he walked out and mentally reminded himself to message Changbin once he got home.

Changbin's phone vibrated in his pocket as he sat in front of Felix at his favorite café.

Changbin looked down from his drink and picked his phone up to see that Chan had texted him.

Chan🐺: Hey, wanna hang?

Changbin: I'll have to talk to you later, I'm with Felix rn

Chan🐺: ah kk!

"Who ya texting?" Felix said before he stuck his straw back in his mouth.

"Um, just Hyunjin." Changbin said putting his phone in his pocket.

"Oh." Felix said disappointment covering his face.

Changbin noticed this, but didn't do anything.

Changbin was mad at himself. He wanted to comfort him so bad. But he was holding himself back because he was scared, and he couldn't do anything about it by himself.

"Hey, thanks for letting me come over" Chan said as he sat down on the couch.

"No problem." Changbin said before sitting beside of the older.

"I hope I didn't drag you away from your boyfriend." Chan said smiling at the younger. Then the younger gave him the death glare.

"Hey, you asked for it when you said you were with Felix." Chan said laughing.

"I said that because I didn't wanna risk getting caught talking to you." Changbin said wide eying Chan, as Chan continued laughing.

"Yah! Bin hyung! I almost forgot to tell you that Seungmin came by earlier. And he looked upset, just saying." Jisung yelled from his room.

"Thanks." Changbin said sighing.

"Seems like you need a break."

"I guess. I've been spending all of my time with Felix. Plus my thoughts are never away from the boy, and it just exhausts me."

"Are you tired of him?"

"No, I'd never be. I'm tired of the fact that I can't accept myself. Even if I kiss him and tell him I do want to be with him, but just give me some more time. I still can't help but think what would come with the relationship. Like criticism, or just bad things in general, and being frowned upon." Changbin said looking down and playing with his hands.

"I think you are more worried about what your parents will think."

"You're right." Changbin sighed again and ran his hands through his hair.

Chan put a hand on Changbin's leg.
"It'll be okay. Like I said, take your time. Think it out. I know it's hard in the confused state, but you can get through it Changbin." the older said assuring the younger.

When Seungmin reached his apartment, he decided that he'd leave Changbin alone, in case he was still with Felix.

He then decided that he'd go visit another friend if Changbin wasn't going to pay attention to him.

"Hey Min." Hyunjin said as he opened the door for Seungmin.

"Hey." Seungmin said as walked into the living room and let out a sigh.

"Tired?" Hyunjin asked as he shut the door, then followed Seungmin and sat on the couch.

"A little, but mostly frustrated." Seungmin said giving Hyunjin a straight smile.

"Why's that?" Hyunjin asked as he faced the red head.

"It's not really a big deal."

"It sure seems like it."

"I just, I don't know... is Felix here?"

"Nope. Not sure where he's at, probably still with Changbin."

"Well, in that case... I guess I'm upset that I'm growing away from Changbin. Don't get me wrong, Felix is my friend, but he's slowly taking Changbin's time. I don't like him like that! It's just, he's been my best friend ever since I started this college... and I miss hanging out with him."

"Ahh... well, you can start hanging with me. All I do is hang with Woojin, but he's usually always working, and at least we have classes together. So I could hang with you when Woojin is working, which is all the time." Hyunjin said laughing.

"I mean, sure." Seungmin said smiling at the older.
