"Hi honey, how have you been?" Changbin's mother said as she came up to her son and hugged him.
"Um... good. What about you and dad?" Changbin said slightly nervous as he hugged his mother back. He was sacred that his mother and father had caught him holding hands with Felix as they approached.
"Well, why don't you invite us in son. I'm glad I get to see you and Jisung are still the best of friends." Changbin's father spoke up as he went up to Changbin and patted his shoulder.
Changbin nodded and began to go in.
"Don't forget to introduce your friend to us when we get settled in." Changbin's mother said as Felix smiled at her and then followed them in.
-
As they were sat down, Felix noticed a lot about Changbin's parents in just a short amount of time.
He was sitting on the couch opposite of Changbin's parents, and sitting beside of Changbin, with Jisung on the other side of Changbin, so he had time to observe.
He noticed how rich they looked, if anything, Felix guessed that Changbin's parents were the usual, just trying to get by parents. Because as long as he'd known Changbin, he had never heard Changbin flaunt his richness. Usually rich people were the typical, rude pricks that didn't care about anyone else unless they were richer than them. But no, there Changbin goes making Felix's heart beat even faster, because Changbin has always been different to Felix. Felix's kind of different.
"So..." Changbin's mom started.
"Um, mom, dad, this is Felix. He moved here a few months ago and he's become one of my good friends." Changbin said before he smiled at Felix and then looked back at his parents.
Felix stood up and bowed, so that he wouldn't be called disrespectful.
"Awe, honey, you don't need to bow. Thank you though. You can call me Mrs. Seo." She said in a sweet tone before smiling at the blonde.
"He's a handsome one isn't he." Mrs. Seo said to her husband.
Mr. Seo just slightly nodded before he began talking.
"I'm sorry we have been gone so long. But this week we are going to be here, I'd like for you stay with us, so we can spend time with our long lost son." Mr. Seo said chuckling.
"Of course dad." Changbin responded back.
"So how's my Jisung been." Mrs. Seo said as she reached forward and pinched his cheeks.
For the next hour, they made small talk until Changbin's parents decided to leave.
"Alright, we'll be heading off. Changbin honey, I'll message you when you can come over. Bye Jisung honey and nice to meet you Felix." Mrs. Seo said before they both left.
"God, that was stressful." Changbin said as Jisung left to go to his room.
"Are you okay? You seemed tense the whole time." Felix questioned as he grabbed Changbin's hands.
"I'm okay." Changbin said smiling slightly at the blonde before he dragged him into his bedroom.
"It's only 2 in the afternoon yet I'm so tired." The brown headed boy said as he laid on his bed with his head propped on the head board.
Felix stayed standing and continued looking at the shorter laying comfortably on his bed with his eyes closed.
When Changbin didn't feel the bed sink down beside of him he opened his eyes.
"Are you gonna lay down with me lix?" Changbin questioned.
"Um, I should probably head home and finish some homework. I'll talk to you later." Felix said before he began to walk out of the room.
Changbin hurriedly hopped out of his bed and grabbed Felix's arm and made him turn around.
"What's wrong lix?" Changbin said worriedly.
"Nothing." The blonde responded.
"Are you sure?" Changbin said as he still had his hand lightly placed on the blondes arm.
"Yes."
"Lix-"
"I said I'm fine. Quit asking!" Felix snapped. He even surprised himself with how he had just talked to the shorter.
Changbin was startled when he heard Felix, so he released his arm and let Felix walk out.
Changbin shut the door to his room after Felix left.
"Damnit, why the hell am I so stubborn and stupid!" He yelled at himself as he sat on his bed and raked his hands through his hair.
He hated that he wouldn't allow himself to comfort Felix when he was hurting. He didn't want anyone else to, yet he wouldn't.
-
"Hyunjin! Stop tickling me!"
"It was a dare, I have to!"
Hyunjin yelled as he still tickled Seungmin. But he stopped when he saw Felix run into the bathroom with an emotionless face.
"Hey, Felix? Are you okay?" Hyunjin asked as they went to the door.
"I'm fine, just leave me be for a little while." Felix said as he looked in the mirror at his pitiful self.
Hyunjin looked at Seungmin worriedly but still obeyed the younger's privacy.
As Felix continued to look in the mirror at himself, he noticed the still red hickies. He hated himself for that. Because he let it happen when he was drunk for the first time. He knew he definitely wasn't drinking ever again. He never wanted to see Changbin hurt like that again.
When he was done collecting his thought and calming himself down, he reached his room with no one trying to bother him.
-
After Seungmin had left, which it had been a few hours, Hyunjin decided that he'd go check on Felix because the younger hadn't come out of his room ever since he had gotten back.
He knocked on the door, "Hey lix. Can I come in?"
He heard a few footsteps and then he was greeted with a dead looking Felix.
Hyunjin pushed past him and sat on his bed.
"So what's up?" Hyunjin began as Felix sat on the bed beside of Hyunjin.
Felix sighed, "honestly, I don't even know anymore. I just feel stupid."
"Well, why is that?"
"I just feel stupid for trying too hard."
"You mean with Changbin?"
"Yeah. Like I'm pushing his limits. I feel like I just don't belong with him if it's gonna be like this all the time."
"Dude, you like him, obviously. So you shouldn't give up. And if it takes not hanging around him to realize what he's missing, then boy would I do that."
"Should I really?"
"Yup."
