Ashton - Fall Walk (AU)

You were walking around your neighborhood during autumn and it was so beautiful and peaceful. You didn't realize but your friend Ashton was walking the same way as you. He comes from behind you without you knowing and covers your eyes. You jumped, startled as Ashton started giggling. "Ashton!" You say happily as you remove his hands from your eyes and turn around. "(Y/n)!" He mimicked as he wrapped you in a cute hug. He didn't know, but you had a crush on him. You also didn't know that he had mutual feelings for you. You both walked side by side as you started kicking leaves out of the way. It was a comfortable silence when your hand brushed Ashton's. You felt butterflies but then broke the peaceful silence by yelling, "Bloody hell, Ashton!" "Oh my God! You scared me. What?" He said as he placed his hand over his heart. "Your hands are really cold." You put enfisis on the 'really' as you grabbed his hands and touched it. "Well I guess I'm just cold." He said as he blushed at the contact and chucked nervously. "Well I'm warm." You laughed as you held his hand and kept walking. In other situations you were usually shy around Ashton, considering you had a huge crush on him but you didn't know where all the sudden confidence came from. "You're actually hot." Ashton mumbled. You heard what he said and smirked as you asked, "What was that?" "Oh nothing." He shook his head and looked forward. The both of you were actually still holding hands when you asked him, "Wait, Ash. Where are we even going?" He laughed and said, "I don't even know." You laughed as well. He looked at you and then said, "You know what? How about we go to my place?" You smiled and said, "Okay." As he turned you both around and gripped your hand tighter, making you smile to yourself. You both walked to his house still holding hands and he opened the door for you. "Thanks." You said as you walked in and he locked the door behind you. "Gosh. I was so cold out there!" Ashton exclaimed as he rubbed his arms with his hands trying to get warmer. "Ya'know... For a guy who claimed he was cold, you're pretty hot." You said with the most innocent face anybody could pull. Again you didn't know where all the confidence was coming from. He looked at you blushing as you giggled. "So, Ashton." You trailed off as you sat on his couch and snuggled into the cusions. "Yeah?" He asked nervously as he played with his hair. "What did you mumble when we were walking?" You asked him as you tilted your head like a confused puppy. "Um... I might have called you hot?" He said as it came out more like a question. Even though you knew what he said, you were still a bit shocked that he would call you hot. You looked down as you blushed and he said, "Ugh. It's just that you said you were warm and I said you were hot and I secretly like you and the way you tilted your head was so adorable and I couldn't resist." He said in one big breath. He stopped talking for a second and thought about what he and looked at you with wide eyes. "Shit." He mumbled as he sat down and tugged at his hair. "I wasn't supposed to say that." He said as his leg started bouncing up and down. "Hey. Ash. Ashton. Ashton!" You said trying to get his attention. "Huh? what?" He said as he looked up at you. "Look, I like you too." You smiled and blushed. "Damn it! I knew I should have never told you because I knew you wouldn't like me ba- Wait what?!" You started laughing and said, "I like you too, Ashton." "This is literally the best day ever." He said as he scooped you up in a hug and spun you around. You wrapped your arms around his neck and he finally placed you down. You both looked at eachother for a few seconds, just admiring eachother when he spoke up. "(Y/n), can I take you out on a date?" He asked shyly. "Ofcourse you can." You say as you smile up at him and spend the rest of your time hanging out with him at his house.
