Today was the soccer match at my school. Niall was going to be there and I wouldn't miss it for the world. You see, I've been crushing on him ever since the begging of highschool and I just had to see him play. I mean, who wouldn't want to see their crush running around a field being sweaty and looking hot as their muscles flex? Am I right? I was still in school and I was in my second to last class until the end of the day. I had this class with Niall but him and all the jocks were called to have a meeting abut tue game. What I mostly like about Niall was that he isn't that sterotypical kind of jock. He didn't bully anybody and he was nice to any and everybody. His good looks were just a bonus. The bell rang and I made my way to my last class. As I was about to wall in the room, the intercom turns on and the principal says, "Goodafternoon, staff and students. There was a slight change in the schedule today because of the match later on so therefore all students are allowed to leave early. You are dismissed." The intercom turned off and all I could hear was cheering along the hallways. I laughed and shook my head as I walked to my locker and gathered my things. I packed my stuff and as I shut my locker I heard my name being called by an all too familiar irish accent. I froze in place. I turned around and saw Niall jogging toward me. He stopped in front of me and I asked shyly, "Yeah?" "I was going to ask if you were coming to the match later today?" "Yeah. I plan on coming. Why?" He shook his head as he smiled. "Just wondering. I'll see you there?" He asked. I smiled at him as I nodded. "Alright. See you later, (Y/n)." He said as he waved goodbye. I stood in place for about another minute until I finally moved from my spot and walked out the school. The match was at four o'clock and it was two o'clock now so I had three hours to relax and get ready. I walked home and did some homework. It was twenty minutes before the match so I walked to the school, and entered the feild area. I sat down in the fromt bench considering there weren't too many people since the match hadn't started yet. When it was time for the match to begin, I saw all of the players running out into the feild. I caught a glimpse of Niall's hair and smiled. His eyes scanned the benches looking for somebody when they landed on me . He waved at me as he winked and I blushed and waved back. He smiles at me as he turns around and gets in his spot. The match was actually over pretty quick since the team Niall was on were amazing. They won and everybody was getting up from their seats to congradulate the members or leave. Some of thr members went in the locker room to change while others were heading home or grabbing water bottles for themselves. I noticed Niall grab a water bottle and made his way over to me. "Hey, (Y/n)." He smiled. "Hi, Niall. You did great out there. Congrats." I said shyly. He grinned with pride and said, "So... I was wondering... If you would like to hang sometime? Or watch a movie with me? To say that I was shocked was an understatement. I would have never thought that Niall would ever ask me out. "Sure. I'd love to." I say as we trade numbers and hug eachother goodbye.
