Luke- Prom (AU)

| Luke's P.O.V |

She is so pretty. I'm kind of worried considering that prom is coming up soon and I don't think I have the balls to go over to Madison and ask her to be my date. I should just ask her now because any other boy could sweep her off her feet before I even get the chance to talk to her. Deciding on what to do, I walked over to her before I fixed ny appeareance and cleared my throat. She turned around and smiled at me. "Hey, Luke." She said happily. "Hi, Maddi." I said grinning back. "Um. Can I -like- ask you a question?" I asked suddenly getting nervous. She saw me getting nervous and looked at me with calming eyes. "You can ask me anything. What is it?" She asked. "Can I take you to prom?" I asked looking at her. She smiled and nodded her head while saying, "Sure. I'd love to go with you." I smiled widely and hugged her. "Thank you for saying yes." I said as she hugged back. We let go of eachother and said our farewells before I walked to my last class of the day. The whole time I couldn't stop thinking about Maddie. I really did have a huge crush on her and I want to impress her on prom night.

| Prom Day |

It was prom day and saying I was nervous was a huge understatement. I was literally shaking as I got dressed in my tux. My mom said I looked very handsome and made me look in the mirror. I have to admit, I did look nice like this. I got Madison's number so I texted her saying that I would pick her up in a few minutes. Now I was really nervous. I got to her house and hesistantly rang the doorbell. I heard some shuffling behind the door before it opened. It was Maddie and she looked absoloutley wonderful in her dress. We stared at eachother for what seemed like forever until I finally said, "You look beautiful," As I pulled her in for a hug and kissed her cheek. She blushed and mumbled a, "Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself." I extended my arm and asked, "Shall we go?" She smiled up at me and looped her arm with mine. We arrived at our school and saw all the couples who were already dancing. "May I have this dance?" I asked as I held out my hand. She nodded while smiling and I took her on the dance floor. I slowly wrapped my hands around her waist as she slid hers around my neck. She also rested her head on my chest. I inhaled a big breath and starting swaying back and forth. "Maddie, I need to tell you something." I said. She lifted her head from my chest and looked at me. "What?" She asked cutely. "I... Umm. I kind of have a massive crush on you." I said quickly while looking at the floor. I waited for a response from her but instead felt lips on mine. I soon pieced it together that they were her lips and I kissed back. She pulled away and I pouted. "I like you too, Luke." She said giggling. My pout formed into a smile and I built up all my confidence to ask, "Will you be my girlfriend?" She nodded and kissed me again and we spent the rest of evening dancing and enjoying eachothers company.
