We're back in Windhelm. I wasn't going to write an entry until tomorrow night, but when we arrived, Brelyna's friend informed her about a murder that occurred only hours ago. Apparently, it's the third murder in the past few months. Brelyna happened to mention to her friend that we've investigated a murder before, and her friend suggested we speak to the guards, as they've been too busy with the war to devote enough resources to solving this string of murders. The last time we investigated a murder, we ended up jailed and almost killed. We'll have a talk with them in the morning, once we've rested from the journey, but I hope this isn't another instance of corruption.
