Eyes. Bright golden eyes. Not human at all... What is he.?

He stared back, hungry. I broke the kiss almost instantly. "W-What the hell?!" I scooted away from him, almost on the edge of the park bench. His hungry look soon faded into a concerned one. Did he not know about this? "Are you okay?" He asked. I shook my head no and quickly replied, feeling my heart beating 1,000 miles per hour. "Jax..y-your eyes!". I managed to get out about that.much of a sentence. He looked away with an annoyed look. I assumed he knew exactly what I was mentioning. And he was not happy about it. " Kris. I know this is going to sound..stupid" he said, finally making eye contact again. "What.," I asked, my voice drifting off into silence near the end. "Well. I think it's best if I showed you." He grabbed my hand and led me to the dark..awfully scary woods behind the park.

"Jax, if you're trying to make me calm this, is not how to do it.." I said glancing around at my surroundings. He looked my way and sighed. He spotted a wide oak tree and turned to me. "Kris..you are the only person that has stayed with me..that I've grown to trust, a lot." I nodded. "Where are you going with this?" I asked, letting those bright golden pools Peirce into my soul once again. "Just promise you won't get scared and run..please?" I could tell he was sincere, too sincere. "I would've run off by now if I was someone else Jax, what is it?" He shot a worried glance my way and calmly walked behind the tree trunk. My annoyed expression soon became a horrified and concerned one. Silence filled the intense air yet was shattered by the cracking of bones and grunt of pain from a familiar voice. "J-Jax?!" I stuttered. A long, fluffy, and black tail swayed from the side of the tree. "Jax..?" I whispered, watching and oversized wolf arise from the trees. This wolf was huge. And I mean Huge. I backed away, terrified for my life.

The wolf whimpered, making me stop in the tracks.

I turned and met the same golden eyes. Jax, it was Jax. My heart was beating in my stomach at this point. The wolf approached me, getting close to my face. He didn't seem hostile in any way. Though I was scared, I didn't run. Something in my gut urged me to stay. The w-.Jax rested his forehead on my chest, so calm and collected. I ruffled the fur on the back of his neck smiling. He looked up at me with a confused look, realizing I wasn't scared, but I was very..very shocked. He trotted behind the tree again, the sounds of cracking bones filled the silent air again. Jax walked out from behind the tree, still putting on his shirt. He pulled me into a tight hug as he dug his face into my neck happily. "I'm glad you care.." I could barely hear his muffled voice. "So am I.."

"So am I..."
