A/N:
Hello, so I just wanna say thank you for showing this book some love. It wasn't actually supposed to be noticed, this was just a hobby I picked up from my friend. (Follow KaitlynReads_ for writing that's better than mine ;D). But with that, LEZ GO.

Leon and I ended up watching a horror movie together while waiting for Jax. Who was taking forever, which was odd for him. He's never late.

"It's getting late. Do you think Jax is in trouble?" I asked, shooting a tired glance at Leon. He yawned and shrugged. "He's tough enough to stand up for himself. I'm sure he'll be here soon." As if on cue, a very tired, and I mean very tired wolf walked through the door. His golden eyes were bloodshot and his hair along with overall appearance was scruffy looking. But why was Jax's wolf here?

"About time." Leon shot an annoyed glance at the wolf, who snarled in response. He spotted me and made his way over, breathing in my scent as he sat next to me. I slowly melted into the ocean blue eyes I was far more familiar with. "You wanted to talk about something.?" He just kept gazing at me, almost like he was trying to remember. "Ill uh, tell you tomorrow, today didn't go as planned." And with that, he curled up next to me. He laid his head in my lap, snaking his arms around my waist and relaxed. We continued to watch the movie until we both drifted off and eventually fell asleep. Of course, Jax was asleep first considering he had a long day. I stayed up a little longer admiring the irresistible thing in my lap. He would stirr quietly once in a while, rolling over and pulling me closer. I decided it was time to get some actual rest and got up carefully, replacing my body with a pillow and tossing myself onto the bed in the guest room. Which I shared with May for now. Which was fun, to say the least, she seems pleasant to be around with absolutely nothing but a positive attitude, vibe, and intention.
Jax kept snoozing while May silently entered the house. We waved and smiled as she entered the room and got ready to go to bed. I heard Leon shuffle to the kitchen for a snack, then to the room further to the back if the cabin. I attempted to fall asleep but my mind eventually traced back to whatever Jax was trying to say.

I ended up staying awake longer than planned just pondering over Jax, what he had to tell me, and what we were. What our relationship was.
