Chapter 10

It's been months since that day, yet it feels like yesterday. I would wake up every morning and text him. He would respond hours later since he slept in so late and we would make plans. He even let me meet his only close family, his cousin May and his brother Leon. Turns out he's not the last werewolf of his kind.

*~ Hey May ;D ~*

I woke up in my bed as usual, but today felt off. It felt as if I woke up from a dream I didn't remember. Well, nightmare us a better word. Today just didn't feel right. I texted Jax a polite "Good Morning!" And proceeded with my day. I jogged downstairs to the kitchen, greeting Kayla as I did so. I helped myself to a bowl of cereal and sat down at the table to begin eating. I jumped when my phone vibrated and rang. "Is it your future husband?" Kayla teased. I rolled my eyes and answered it. "Morning Kris" and an unfamiliar voice said. "It's Leon. Just wanted to say Jax needs to see you. You free to come by the cabin later?" I heard something odd in his voice. He may not have been as strong as Jax but he was just as good as hiding emotions in his voice. If not, better. "Uhh..sure I guess," I responded uncertain of what Jax wanted to talk about. This usually never happens. I decided to climb that mountain when I got to it and continued eating.

*~ Le Time Skip ~*

I checked the time on my phone as I stumbled down the apartment's stairs. Leon agreed to pick me up since Kayla and I usually rode the bus whenever we needed to go somewhere. I quickly got in the car as Leon took off to the cabin. The drive was pretty other than some small talk and me humming along to the radio a few times. We finally pulled up to the cabin and got out. "Hey, you know why Jax wanted to see me anyways.?" I asked turning my head towards Leon. He let out a low chuckle. "I wish. But he never tells me a damn thing anymore." I shrugged and followed him inside the cabin. "Where's May?" I asked, she usually hung around the cabin or was out with friends. "Shopping I think." He explained. I nodded and took a small peek into the guest room, which was empty. " And where exactly if Jax?" I asked, slightly annoyed. "He said he would be here soon, help yourself to the Tv and the fridge." I nodded once more and may my way to the couch.

Yes, short chapter soz I just wanted to get something out so I didn't feel AS Lazy.
