"So, I did some more research yesterday and I found something about the powers the children of agony had." Sam got right to the topic and I was thankful for that. It would distract me from the thoughts that were racing through my head about blue eyes and a trench coat.. I couldn't believe that I would actually think about an angel like that. Especially when I only knew him for like a day .. damn, what was wrong with me?
"So? Tell us, Sammy." Dean sat down on my bed and fell back to lay down. He rested his head on his crossed arms, turning his head to us.
"The children had really different powers. The most powerful one was invincible, as we already got to know from Cas. Others were possible to let plants and trees grow as they wanted them to, an then again others, had psychic powers such as making people see what they wanted them to see or torture them with their minds."
That seemed quite impressive. I couldn't wrap my mind around that I would actually be capable of such a power. But then again, I was really curious about what power I would develop. Could be the best thing that would ever happen to me or it would be my death.---
We spent the rest of the day trying to find the people that were involved into cases that would suit. We found out that most of them already were in their 30s but it all happened to them when they were 16.
"But why is there so much time difference? What does that mean?" I narrowed my eyebrows. My head was spinning and the look Cas was constantly giving me didn't really help. I was tired, well, not my body but my mind was. I didn't want to search any further. Suddenly I felt really sad and just wanted to lay down and go to sleep.
"That's because there is a ritual that needs so much time to actually work." Cas finally said. We all looked at him questioningly.
"To get the darkest and most powerful one of them all out of his cage and back to the earth, the sign needs to come to light in 37 different places, on 37 different persons within 37 years." He answered. I looked at Sam who typed in something on his lap top.
"666 can be divided by 37. Does that mean something" He asked.
"Legend has it that Lucifer and the most poweful child began to work together when his power grew. So god had to do something against it before the both of them would take over the whole world." That sounds amazing. And I had this strange feeling that this was exactly the thing that could be happening. Great.
"And I guess thats exactly the thing that will happen now? How many years have already passed?" Dean asked him.
"Uh .. the first murder happened 16 years ago. So we still have time. But there were already 20 murders. So .. I don't know what happens when the amount of murders have been completed but the times not over yet." Sam looks at Cas who just shrugged.
"I can't answer that either. It never happened before and God never said anything about that. He only told us what I already told you."
I sighed and stood up to go to the fridge. I opened the door to see that only some butter was left. No beer, well, nothing actually.
"Okay guys, but before we do anything, we need to get some food. Im starving." I turned around to them and and they all nodded.---
15 minutes later I entered a shop with the two hunters and an angel. I smiled a little at the thought of that was seemed be a joke, but it was my life. My life was a joke. Great.
"So, where're the sweets ..." Dean thought loudly.
"You're like a ten year old, Dean." Sam laughed but Dean didn't care. He made his way right to the pies and directly after that, he grapped some beer. That boy was simple, but he seemed happy about that.
I went the frozen food section and went through the food. I grapped some good looking food, also something to drink and then slowly made my way to the till. Luckily I didn't have to wait and got to pay directly. After I packed my things into the back, I waited for the boys to be ready so that we could leave.
It took them another 10 minutes and at least 30 times of eye rolling from me to get ready.
"Damn boys, you take longer than my grandma." I groaned as they finally exited the shop. We got into the car and drove back to the motel. As soon as we were in the room, I packed the food into the fridge but also made some. I decided to go with some Chinese food that smelled amazing. Couldn't wait for it to be ready."So guys, where's the closest person?" I asked as I sat down next to them on the table. The food was amazing for frozen one but I didn't really care about healthy food. Sam's glare told me that he thought about that a little different but guess what? The food was even better with this little bit of judgement.
