What something is
Is a true mystery,
But life is full of mysteries,
And discovering the nature of yourself.
You are who you want to be,
And I haven't decided yet.
Sometimes I feel like they've decided for me.
Am I the girl
Who cries herself to sleep,
Wishing for a happy life?
Am I the girl
Who hunts for adventure,
Daring fate at every turn?
Or,
Am I the girl
Who wishes for a fairy tale,
An ending so pure
And sweet?
All of them are true,
Yet all of them are lies.
I am one
And I am all.
For I just want
A happy life.
A life full of adventure,
Love,
And happiness.
But isn't that what everyone wants?
I don't know who I am,
But I do know what I want,
So isn't that close enough?
