Birds flight

Silent,
High
Up in the clouds.
Nimble as can be
And so free from earthly tethers.
There's so much the world offers,
But there's something of a birds eye view-
A retrospect
Some would say-
An out of body experience.

Watching from about,
All those mortal turmoils
So unbothered
So relaxed.
It's like the real world doesn't exist.
Sometimes it's just a dream gone awry.

Yet deep down
I know.
It'll hurt
To the point of no return
And that desolate,
Ever so mundane world
Will affect me
And I won't be so care free.
Not anymore.

Until then,
I watch the birds
And their chainless ways,
As the soar into the clouds
Leaving me behind
And wish them farewell.
