I'm so happy for everyone
But I'm so sad
At the same time.
I miss my friends
I miss being there with them
Every step of the way.
I've made new friends,
And I'm so happy about that,
But nothing will break the bonds I have with the others.
It breaks my heart to not be there to congratulate them,
To hold them through the tears,
To do all those stupid shenanigans.
My entire life has been with them
and it's a shock to not see them everyday.
I've missed wedding plans,
Engagements,
Heartbreak.
So much has happened
and I don't know how to feel about that.
I'm homesick
and I just want to see them.
My childhood friends.
