"Mère je vais bien, ne t'inquiète pas". i said to my mom.

"English now Sophie, you are going to America to live with your father now, so please practice " my mother admonishes me for the hundredth time today,  WHY, just why can't this be easier?, I am gonna live with my father for my last few months of high school so that my mother can keep working to fulfill her dreams to open her boutiques in Asia, but this is just way harder than what I thought.

And now the top of the cake she also wants me to forget my language and "practice my English", just why didn't I just suggested to go to Japan with her, I mean yes language barrier would have been tough for me to end school, but to go and live with dad and my brother after all this years  to the states where I haven't visited in 5 years, let alone stayed for more than a few weeks, and without my mother who is like my best friend?... This was a terrible idea.

"Mom just don't worry ok? I'll be just fine, I know I don't speak much, but I have a pretty good English. just give me a hug ok? I won't see you till Christmas in December, that's 4 months away, so come here MOMMA give me some love " I said squeezing her into a hug.

"I know Ma Chérie, I'll miss you so much! Je te aime, I love you chérie, please take care of yourself, we'll be together soon I promise " she said kissing my head and ushering me to my airport gate.

I got on the airplane and finally relaxed in my seat. I really hope this 4 months go by fast.

I went to pick up my luggage to the belt, grabbing a cart, I collected my 2 suitcases and my guitar case, before heading to the exit. I got to the exit and before I even made It out of the closed area for travelers my father's arms lifted me off the ground and he spinned me around hugging the breath out of me. "My baby girl is finally home with me! Sophie you look so grown up and beautiful just like your mother" dad said finally putting me on the ground when I started wiggling out of the monster hug. Is not that I don't love my dad, but the man is like so muscly, he's huge, and he doesn't really have any measure with his force. I mean the man is like 6 feet 2, and to me that's enormous.

"I've missed you too Papa"I said hugging him softly. and I really did missed him a lot. I haven't seen him in a few years, and I really should make this months with him count.

We started walking to the car with my dad telling me a little about the house, and how he redecorated one of the bedrooms in his ranch that he will let me change till my heart is content later, he also tells me a little about my new school, and that my brother Gabriel is really anxious to see me but could not accompany him to the airport, cause he had to take care of the ranch while Dad came because their last foreman just retired.

"Wake up buttercup, someone really wants to see you" my dad said helping me out of the jeep. Wow I didn't even noticed when I fell asleep in the car.

"Thank you dad, now where is he exactly? " I said just as an arm caught me from behind and put me over his shoulder, but I knew this all too well so I just said "GABRIEL LOUIS FRANZ KENNEDY PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT IF YOU WANT DON'T WANT ME TO REVEAL YOUR FULL NAME IN SCHOOL ON MONDAY" dad just chuckled behind us.

He slowly put me down and hugged me kissing my cheek. he's such a softy "Ok, sorry SoSo I just missed you so much little sis, but don't you ever dare to utter my full name in school ok? I have a reputation to protect" he said taking my bag from me.

"Sure you do Bam bam, now just show me my room and tell me about my new school" I said using his nickname from when we were kids.

"Well SoSo, this is you" he said showing me the beautiful white bedroom in front of me, a huge king size bed with with white and blue covers and pillows, there was a gorgeous walking closet, a reading couch near an open window that overlooked the river behind the house and to my surprise there was even a little box in the bed with a pink bow on top
