" You fuck her, i'll kill you" said the guy in khakis and a pink shirt, the asshole looked ready to play golf or something. WTF?

For once in my life am actually scared of a man that wears freaking pink. Sophie's brother is pretty intimidating on his own, but this dude looked like a killer ready to end me given the right circumstances "You don't have to worry, I won't " I said deadly serious, cause even if I tried, there is no scenario where I would ever want to do something to Sophie that would maker unhappy, or sad. She's all I can think about this days, and I'll be dammed before I let anyone hurt her.

"Good, am Ivan by the way" he introduced himself. "Alexander" I say extending my hand to shake his.

"And am Tony this is my brother Michael, and the sucker next to Alex is Trevor...Now that we all know each other how about you guys put us up to speed, cause last we heard you player.."he said pointing his finger at me "were too much of a wuss to even speak to that beauty for fear she might reject to go out with you again, and now the brother hates you, Trevor is trying to taker her away and the bestie is threatening you?!, why in the fuck are we the last to know everything?"

"Wait Trevor what?! you motherfucking dickhead son-of-a-bitch traitor bastard asshole cocksucker of a best friend!"I said exasperated, I was ready to smash his ass into oblivion when Sophie's hand held me down, she gave me one looked that pretty much said not worth it, and damn if that wasn't amazing, she can actually make me feel everything in one single look, how? Just by being her, I mean the girl could have done the whole playing with us, but instead clearly she made her choice and sticks to it blowing my mind once again.

So what do you do when the girl that has you wrapped around her pretty little finger makes you forget all the anger, heck I don't think I could even utter my full name right now, she is just perfect for me. I stand up with startling everyone, but my focus is only for those beautiful eyes that look at me amused as I grab her hand to pull her up which she does happily, her brother is about to protest but before he can even blink she whispers something that makes him nod rapidly.

I take her stuff from her and I start walking outside the school. "So 'player' Where are we going?" So she heard the nickname.

"Not a player anymore, and to my car" I said fumbling with the zipper of my backpack trying to get my keys out. She noticed me struggling and opened the bag for me, finally I unlocked the door and we got inside "so why are we here Alexander?" She asked.

"Just needed some privacy to do this" i grabbed her face and kissed her plump lips softly, she was startled for a second but soon enough she responded kissing me back. I tried to put everything I felt, all that I could not yet admit out loud, everything this amazing girl has make me experienced, I depend the kiss, and the air in the car suddenly wasn't enough to breath, i stopped the kiss and looked at her "God you are beautiful" 

"You are not so bad yourself" she replied playfully. I could only gaze at her in astonishment, I think right now in this moment I realized that this thing with her is way more than just passing fling, I need her to be more, heck I don't think I have thought like this before, like EVER, but am definitely not backing down.

"So, wanna skip the rest of the day and have a date?" I asked unable to stop myself cause I really needed more time alone with her. 

She crooked her head to the side and looked at me "well well well Mr. Andreti I didn't know you had a rebel side, sure let's get out here" she said grinning widely.  Yeah, she's definitely more material, she's way more...

We stopped by Barry's Dinner to grab some food and drove 30 minutes outside of town to Canyon Bay River, where I parked just by the shore and we seated at the hood of the car with the heavenly burgers and a chocolate fudge dessert that Sophie choose.

She told me everything about how she came to love the cuisine, that growing up with just her mother, made her want to help at the house to stop worrying her about her well being, I told her about my dreams to study engineering to be like my dad, and my fear of never being good enough to make a name for myself.

Finally after a lot of convincing told her a little about the moon festival that we won tickets to that will take place in 2 weeks. But only about the part of the fair under the moonlight and the weekend camping. The rest of the event I decided to surprise her.

"So... where you really a player before?" asked Sophie looking at the lake ahead.

How do I answer that without screwing up?, I mean yes I was a player, never in school though, I never wanted to mix dating life with school life,  after the whole Amanda situation, I always separated them, but when Sophie arrived I sent all of my rules to heck and pretty much changed into a sappy moppy lovesick kinda guy, so I just went with there true "I was, until I found you, and now everything is different, am different"

"Different how?", God does she not trust me now, I swear I'll fucking end Tony later if I have problems because of that stupid nickname.

"Pretty much everything changed about me, you see I tried dating a this girl Amanda when I was a junior, but I was stupid then, and I just wanted to have fun, so when I broke things off with her, she practically told the entire school that I was a piece of shit, and so I decided to never go out with anyone, after i did the whole random hookup at parties... that was until I met you, at first I though, damn that girl is hot.." I looked at her, and found her staring at me with a smile playing on her lips nodding me to go on 

"but after that I got to actually know you, the real you, around your family, and I saw many things I didn't ever expect like how you love to learn, but you hate to study, and I don't know how you do it because you have like the best grades I've seen, or how you always smile around your brother even when he annoys the f-fudge out of you... And I really like the fact that i still have many more things to learn about you, and to me that's a first, you Sophie, you are the first girl I have actually liked, and I really want to see where this thing between us goes "

She grabbed my jacket and hugged me, I was stunned for a second but then I circled her softly with my arms.

"Hug me like you mean it player" I could only laugh at that and I can honestly say she will never say that to me again cause I hugged shit out of her.

We stayed for a few hours teasing and laughing under the sun until it was late and I started to drive Sophie home, we where almost at the town border, Sophie got down on her seat looking for her phone ringing in her bag, I looked at her one second, and when my eyes returned to the road my eyes widened in horror, a car was coming right at us, I swirled to the side abruptly and then all went black....
