Walking towards the oak tree trying to keep my balance on the soft easily impressionable snow.

The poisons serious pain had subsided but this only terrified me more. There were small splotches of red and veins rose around my wound. Burst capillaries dotting my skin. I wonder if it's killing my veins. My mouth had begun to dry. I trudged on, stumbling onto my hands and knees. The weight of my body getting heavier as the poison spread. My eyes closed blurring as they did. My eyes closed on the world and I wondered it I'd see it again. As my lashes lowered a black blurred figure appeared and crouched beside me. I was too far gone to stop myself from passing out.

The cabin was dimly light, my gas lamps running low. The grey of the sky with more snow to come down. I looked out the window by my bed. I've dreamt of home so often lately. I miss home and the comfort of my bed but I've come to know a new longing. A longing to touch her, hold her in my arms and tell her things I've always wanted to since the war. That day in her office before i had left on my mission- my physical exam. I remember having been the first time I had actually seen her office. I had felt such a swell of pride to know my student had found such success. But the soft hesitant of her touch on my skin was what taunted me more than anything. And during my solitude I found myself thinking of her. Sakura Haruno- Oh how I wish it wasn't forbidden for me to profess my truest feelings.

It's about midday now and the snow is coming down really heavily. It's almost blizzard conditions out there. The fire flickered and made the room look very cozy and I dreaded the thought of going outside. But as I watched the snowy horizon I saw a grey figure stumbling towards the oak tree. My eyes trained in on it, nobody knew I was here. Not even Satoshi from the village. I had gotten up from my bed and pulled up my mask and pull on my headband and cloak. My heart was racing. Could she have found me? Did she figure it out?

Bursting out the door and slamming it closed after me I ran out into the cold. My breath billowing out like little clouds. My hair swished ferociously as the ice cold wind cut through it as I ran. I came closer to the body that was now sprawled out on the snow. I froze, not because of the cold but because it was Sakura. My heart swelled and I knelt down beside her just as her eyes closed. I pulled her up into my arms and her snow soaked clothes clung to her figure. I groaned at the sight of her. My heart pounding. I noticed the purple stain on her cloak, pulling it's away it reviled a wound that I immediately identified as the new poison circling this country. My breath escaped me in a pained sound. The pain she must had experienced. I'm just glad I've grown immune to the poison that I can help her. My time tailing the supervisors I learned a thing or two about the killing drug. I learned that with regular small injections you can grow immune.

I saw the stage of her wound, she's only had the wound a few hours. Burst capillaries and veins showing up, it's attacking her system. I cradled her in my arms her head falling lax in the crook of my arm. Her hair falling off her shoulders. Her skin was red from the cold, I rested my palm over her cheek holding her face close to my chest. Pulling up carrying her in both arms I turned and ran back to the cabin as fast as possible.

I broke through the door trying to be as quick as possible so she wouldn't have to be in pain anymore. Placing her carefully on my bed I tugged off my cloak and throwing it onto my chair by the fire. Running to the door I tried to close it. I had broken the lock. Grunting in frustration I propped it closed with a chair from the table set.Rolling up my sleeves I knelt by Sakura on the bed.

"Sakura!" I said in a hushed whisper " I'll make you feel better, okay?" Having to act quickly I tear open the slit in her top to free the wound. The soft skin blemished by this ugly wound bracing myself I take a deep breath, I'd only ever read this in icha-icha. Nearly blushing I cast that thought aside I begin to suck the poison from the wound. The poison had the distinct taste I'd grown accustomed too. But the sting was something else. In with the poison I was extracting. Spitting out the poison onto the floor, I saw the pained look in her face lesson. Her once knitted eyebrows now smooth. I unstrapped the medical kit she had from around her waist and rummaged through it. Nothing extremely useful to tackle the poison.
